I stayed for two nights arriving and leaving San Pedro. It was a great way to start off my vacation to Honduras at this warm and friendly hotel. Roberto, Nancy and their staff were so helpful. Roberto gave me some great tips on the best places to see. Coming back after travelling felt like coming home. The breakfast nook and patio are a great place to hang out and the colourful rooms were cozy and comfortable. Great value. Great hotel.

We stayed in SPS for one night before our flight, and we couldn't have picked a better place. This was the nicest place we stayed at in our two weeks around Guatemala and Honduras. The room was clean and comfy, the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly, the breakfast was delicious and plentiful and, lastly, the hotel is in a good location of the city with a nearby shopping mall and a few other hotels around. Have Roberto, the owner, drive you to the airport/bus station, only $20 US and he was such a pleasure to have as a "guide." Very real, down to earth and funny guy! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting SPS.

We spent the night here before our flight back. We had fairly complicated pickup requirements, since we friends were arriving from different places and were flying back together. The safety and reliability of pickup and drop arrangements was our main concern.

What we got was a great triple room, extremely friendly people, well managed and reliable pickup and drop and a great safe locality. The rooms were very well maintained. Roberto (the owner) personally picked us up individually and dropped us off at the airport. He also made sure that we felt at ease with our reservations about San Pedro. Guacamaya is located right near the upmarket malls and we were able to walk and spend time at the malls feeling safe the whole time.

We spent the end of the year here and the first day of the new year-3 days. Well situated near to two malls the cinema and two grand hotels, not far from bus terminal and airport. Hosts look out for you, make suggestions for trips, call taxis and wait to make sure you leave and come back safely. Some of the staff spoke excellent English and main lady housekeeper/chef (Donna Vilma) very efficient hard working quiet and pleasant so impressed us that we had to leave her a generous tip.Rooms named after the birds, clean and bright with more than adequate closet space, safe, bathroom and refrigerator with coffee machine. the last not so common for B & B's .No view from our room although from the back window we saw some fireworks!!Hard to beat for a quick shopping trip to San Pedro or stop over for Copan.
.Our best to all

We spent one night in San Pedro Sula before going to Utila the morning after.

Roberto the manager was very helpful and picked us up at the airport and drove us to the bus station the morning after. His English is was flawless and on the way over he gave a short introduction of the city.

The hotel standard was good, and rooms were clean and spacious, and I would recommend this place for both one-night, and longer stays.

Room Tip: We were 5 people in a 3 bedroom room. This was alright as the beds were double beds and we could eve...

Had to do an overnight layover in San Pedro Sula and booked Guacamaya for the night based largely on reviews here.

Roberto (the manager) picked us up and ran us back to the airport in the am. He was a treat. Perfect English, good tour guide and very gracious. He drove us around the neighborhood of the hotel (American zone) and showed us some restaurants and the malls and such.

The room was quite nice, very spacious and well-appointed all-in-all. The staff was terrific and couldn't have been friendlier.

It is simple, but great value and a delight to be around people this nice!

Room Tip: you can ask for a room on the side away from the road (there are only a few).... though the room'...

Guacamaya was our family home in San Pedro for a week. From airport pick-up to farewells we felt that we were with friends who treated us as family.
The rooms were spacious, clean and exceptionally attractive. The air conditioning was a life-saver. The breakfasts were wholesome and tasty, with friendly service. The owners and the desk staff alike went out of their way to help us find our way around the city and the country as we looked up friends we had not seen in thirty years.
The location is convenient, quiet and safe. The City Mall and Metro Plaza were within walking distance for meals.
We can think of no more favorable place to stay, and at a very reasonable price.
