Wonderful guided tour by Mauricio - and a very high-quality presentation. We left with a surprisingly better understanding of Honduran history and identity.

A lot of History from Honduras, but take a guide for a better understanding! They also have great International Collections from time to time! The Virtual Copan is short but very nice!! Very nice Museum!!!

What a better way to display the history of our great country other than with a great museum?
In the MIN as its known, you will find magnificent exhibits of the history of Homduras and its people.

Located on the peatonal between the National Post Office and the National Theatre-Manuel Bonilla, this museum has wonderful rotating exhibits usually sponsored by foreign embassies. The entrance is usually free and if you go in the morning it is usually delightfully empty. There is a sense of security in the area and it is well worth the trip.

Videos, full-wall displays, and a guide who REALLY knew his stuff, made this a great experience - not to mention the WONDERFUL display of two series of Joan Miro's works, and the exhibit of Honduran native mammals in the patio. I would gladly visit this place all over again without a guide, to take in the things I missed the first time.
