“A GREAT FIND”
Reviewed 18 August 2013

A great spot to eat and drink. An eclectic crowd that is entertaining to watch and be a part of.

A small inside space with outside dining as well. The fish and chips were great as was the lamb stew on rice. Both were and are truly memorable. The prices were reasonable. I will be back the next time I am in Athens!

Only four stars as I was a bit disappointed in the rather limited selection of beer on draught. The waitress was knowledgeable and helpful. Parking may be an issue.

“A Man's Kind of Place”
Reviewed 29 July 2013

The food was too hearty for me. It seemed like a man's kind of place: to watch sports, eat a lot, and to drink beer. I prefer the women's consignment shop across the street!!!

“Great place to watch soccer.”
Reviewed 29 July 2013

The Royal Peasant is a great place to grab a beer, some lunch/dinner or catch some soccer matches. They have a good beer selection, really good pub food, and always draw a crowd for World Cup, Euro Cup, UCL matches. Grab yourself a Holy Grail Ale and order up some house crisps with blue cheese and bacon - everything will be alright. ;)

“A TREAT!”
Reviewed 12 June 2013

Absolutely perfect for a beer and a bite! The pub atmostphere is authentic and the food/drink is as well. I could eat their smoked chicken curry every day, although it would need to be for dinner so I could have a beer with it. Now, I am NOT a big beer drinker, but found the Holy Grail ale they offered was a perfect compliment to the smoked chicken curry. Just... yummy.

My boyfriend LOVES everything on the menu. He too is not a big beer drinker, but there are wines and ciders, and of course cocktails.

All it all - it's worth the calories - seriously. If you live nearby you can easily walk it off!

“Takes me back to Beaconsfield”
Reviewed 9 June 2013

Having lived in England for 3 years, I was delighted to find a true pub less than a 1/2 mile from my office. Lamb stew for lunch and the possibility of a pint after work brings a smile to my face even when just driving by. Five Points is the right setting for this restaurant, neighborhood in feel with super attentive service, makes this a family favorite. Bangers and mash, fish and chips and simple tables, takes me back to favorite times across the pond. Do go early or expect to stand at the bar, outdoor seating is nice.
