Best. Ribs. Ever. And they also have excellent salads & sides. We all agree it's a no-brainer choice for a fun & delicious family dinner.

“Yummy place!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 May 2014 via mobile

Second time here, everything was delicious. Pimento cheese is amazing! The oysters were delicious. My chicken tacos were to die for. Everyone's plates were empty and we all left full. Our waitress was on top of it, didn't catch her name but she had natural curly hair. Skip out on the bathrooms... They are unisex and well, we all know men smell terrible. Women should always have their own bathroom.
Great none the less, pretty neat part of town with a great view. We sat on the patio and it was lovely.

“Nice neighborhood restaurant”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 March 2014

The BBQ is good but some of the sides are just okay at best. Mac & cheese is outstanding. It's very much out of the way on the RR tracks across the street from Stan Mullins sculpture studio, so you have to know how to find it. Given that, it has a regular clientele and nice ambiance.

“Creative take on traditional BBQ”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 January 2014 via mobile

Went on a Friday night on a no-football weekend and got right in -- lots of parking was available. Half of the seating is up a flight of stairs, so call ahead if you need handicapped accommodation.

The restaurant was BYOB on this occasion, but our server said this was temporary. We had smoked catfish tacos, pulled pork on a Kaiser roll, and a bowl of green chili pork. Side orders leaned toward smoked items -- even cauliflower and potato salad were smoked. Our party had varied reactions to the sides, but we found it overall to be nice but not amazing, a quiet, informal place with good service and something on the menu for everyone. The petite desserts were traditional and delicious: banana pudding and a fudge brownie.

“Hidden surprise in Athens GA”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 November 2013 via mobile

Went after UGA homecoming expecting the typical plaid tablecloth , etc.. Group of young and old menu had a variety of well priced items. I had the Reuben that was great well portioned. The theme is a open warehouse / loft seating . It is not a huge restaurant but you don't feel that rushed ,hurry ,to flip the table feeling. Was the food the best ever possibly not but the atmosphere makes up for the menu limitations. Nice surprise ,off the beaten path.
