If you want to exercise you can walk woodland trails. If you want to stay inside, you can enjoy the conservatory with tropical plants. Outdoors there are a gazillion of specialty gardens such as the shade garden, the ethnobotanical garden, etc. I go there at least once/month.

“See the natural history of Georgia in one place!”
Reviewed 25 November 2013

The Botanical garden has representative plants from all the regions of Georgia, which has a rich and diverse natural history. Great displays and educational programs as well. We've been members of the Friends group for years. The Gardens are a great place to spend a lunch hour or a whole day.

“World Class”
Reviewed 8 November 2013

Very impressive botanical garden. Well-designed for both the casual walker and the experienced plantsperson. Lots of neat trails to explore. Labeling all in ship-shape order and grounds immaculate with interesting plantings. Wish this were closer to me - what a great free addition to the community!

“Beautiful”
Reviewed 2 October 2013

Very nice place to visit to clear your head, and see some beautiful, colorful plants. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Didn't like the long walk from the parking lot.
