We were only disappointed that we bought only 1 loaf of banana bread! The next day we had wished we bought more. The pineapple slices were also very good. The shaved ice was the largest I've ever seen but it was just ok. Refreshing on a hot day.

If you turn around and head back to Hana Hwy, you will miss some really exceptional coastline views. Just a few minutes further down Keanae Rd from Aunty Sandy's, you will find some restrooms and a small parking area next to a dramatic lava coastline. Great place for pictures and to enjoy your banana bread.

As Maui Revealed said, the banana bread was good and hot, fresh from the oven. We got chili cheese dogs, they were delicious, good chili, flavorful but not spicy. We also had the Kalua pork "burger" which was the local, tasty pulled pork. Great stop on the way to Hans.

Aunt Sandy's is a hidden gem on the road to Hana. The only reason we found it was because the CD we had on the road to Hana recommended it and told us how to get there as there are no signs for it. We stopped here for a snack. The banana was amazing. We thought we were getting a slice of banana bread, but you actually get a nice sized loaf. The bread was so fresh and the flavoring perfect. My entire family loved their banana bread! On a side note, my husband had a hot dog which he thought was good and much larger than an average hot dog. The beach scenery prior to getting to Aunt Sandy's and past the eatery cannot be missed. Great homemade food and awesome scenery - - - who could ask for more!

This banana bread was freshly baked and warm! The girls at the stand were so friendly and we felt so welcome! Just like home!

This stop was an oasis from our terrible drive to Hana. The shaved ice was just ok, but the fresh cooked banana bread was the best we've had. Hana is known for their banana bread and Aunty Sandy's did not disappoint!
