I love a good perch fish fry and a friend who hadn't been here in 15 years said this was one of the best. We went. It was! I was given 5-6 pieces of perch done to perfection and enough tater tots to feed a family of 4 (my friend had an equivalent amount of French fries). The cole slaw was very good as was the tartar sauce. It is an "all you can eat" fish fry, which is becoming rarer, and they didn't hesitate at all in giving us not only more fish but more cole slaw as well. The restaurant itself has been in its location on Northwest Highway in Arlington Heights over 35 years for sure, though the current owners have only had it for about 2 per the waitress we had. It is wonderful to see they were able to continue the tradition of an outstanding fish fry and that wasn't lost in the transition. I will definitely be back! PS I bet this place gets busy on Fridays, so if its fish you're going for, its good to know they also serve it on Wednesday evenings, which is when we went.
