I went with my teenagers but with a 5 month baby also. On the way to the mountains, there are places you can stop at, like the gardens of herbs and medicine, where they grow their own stuff.... i bought some Ramadhan tea which is for losing weight i need it after having my baby..... and they show you around offer you sme of their local tea... and also we stopped of where the locals were making their own face creams out of an oil they were making its all shown to to, but be aware of the cost they give you, they will look at you and give everyone different prices, so make sure you don't get conned into it.. getting back to the mountains, we started at the bottom walking up.... depending on who you go with, we went with a driver and he assigned us to someone who took us up, i though he was being nice when he offered to pick up my baby the whole way up, which believe me was a trek, bt wanted 50 dirhams each person that was with us on the way down. he did carry the baby which to be honest i wouldn't have been able to do, was quite dangerous, but was gorgeous when you get to the top where you will see the waterfall and will be able to have a shower in it if you please... we sat there for a good hour and half, took in the beauty. then back down, you can stay as long as you wish, but coz we had the baby we thought it best to make way back. its about half an hour up and the same down, but aware of the people selling to you on the way up and down the mountain. we did have a brill day.. but like i said if you dont have a baby and you know you can make it up top alone or with you partner, then dont take these people who are there with you, you dont need them.... if i didnt have the baby me and my kids could have gone alone, just follow everyone else...........enjoy!!
