This is a friendly, secure budget hotel handy for the beach and central Agadir. Get an inside room, the rooms with a balcony on the street are very noisy. I want to put in a good word for Agadir here. The guide books don't rate it very highly, but for a cheap winter sun holiday I don't think you can beat it. Nowadays there is an excellent fleet of town buses run by Alsa. If you want some 'Morroccan atmosphere ' you can get on the bus to Inzegane 3dh or the Agadir souk 4dh. The Inezgane souk is good for shopping. They don't get many tourists so you won't get much hassle. Agadir is pretty free from the 'Morroccan atmosphere' type hustle and hassle apart from buying tourist type crafts which are not really up to much here The beach is the star attraction, groomed for stardom and secure. Locals have their own deck chairs and parasols, but you can plonk yourself down on a sunlounger, with parasol and windbreak if you need it, on a bit of guarded beach and a nice young man will eventually come round and charge you 20dh. They will also fetch you drinks and food from their cafe, but you can bring your own picnic. You can also get a bus up the road to Aourir or Tahazout for different surfy beaches.
