This is a friendly, secure budget hotel handy for the beach and central Agadir. Get an inside room, the rooms with a balcony on the street are very noisy. I want to put in a good word for Agadir here. The guide books don't rate it very highly, but for a cheap winter sun holiday I don't think you can beat it. Nowadays there is an excellent fleet of town buses run by Alsa. If you want some 'Morroccan atmosphere ' you can get on the bus to Inzegane 3dh or the Agadir souk 4dh. The Inezgane souk is good for shopping. They don't get many tourists so you won't get much hassle. Agadir is pretty free from the 'Morroccan atmosphere' type hustle and hassle apart from buying tourist type crafts which are not really up to much here The beach is the star attraction, groomed for stardom and secure. Locals have their own deck chairs and parasols, but you can plonk yourself down on a sunlounger, with parasol and windbreak if you need it, on a bit of guarded beach and a nice young man will eventually come round and charge you 20dh. They will also fetch you drinks and food from their cafe, but you can bring your own picnic. You can also get a bus up the road to Aourir or Tahazout for different surfy beaches.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms with balcony over the road if you think you will want to sleep on Saturday night

First, the staff was very nice and helpful. The room was clean, beds were comfortable, breakfast fresh and orange juice without added water:)

However, the room we stayed in was so noisy that we couldn't sleep at all. It was too hot and stuffy to sleep with closed balcony windows (the room had no air conditioning) and too noisy to sleep with open windows - we chose the second option but we didn't ever sleep for one hour. Catastrophy, especially that we had a flight early in the morning :(

But the staff was really helpful - no fake guides offers, no problems with payment, solo woman traveller can feel very safe there. Thanks to one of the guys working in the hotel we paid a very good price for a car that has carried us easily 3000 km without stopping in the middle of nowhere.

I cannot believe this hotel has decent reviews
The room was absolutely rubbish
with a CURTAIN separating the toilet from the room
the beds were old and the staff were crap

we fled the morning after we stayed and didnt bother having the free breakfast
quickly checked out to go to another hotel

pay that bit extra and stay somewhere decent...
this hotel haunts memories of the holiday..

La Petite Suede was close to the beach (5-10 mins walking), near good restaurants, had great en-suite facilities, a fairly good wifi connection, and very kind and helpful staff. Additionally, the breakfast (included) was great! Though it was a bit expensive for a backpacking budget, it was clearly a good deal for Agadir. I would recommend this hotel!

Good location ,close to beach and amenities , My room was clean and with TV, I was there in Decemebr and the room was a little chilly The hotel itself is quite basic with long corridors leading off from each level, there is a café on the rooftop terrace, the staff seemed friendly and willing to please, nothing spectacular but a decent bet considering some of the pricey rentals in Agadir.

Stayed here on my last few days in Morocco. The guys at hotel were so helpful.
The hotel is not in the centre of Agadir but very accessible for the beach and restaurants.
My room had a balcony, was clean and spacious.
Breakfast was served on the top floor sundeck.
I got a discount because of Rough Guide.

Room Tip: I had a balcony room overlooking the street, didn't find it too noisy
