I have to say that this hotel for the money you pay is amazing . We have stayed in some very expensive hotels and you expect it to be amazing but this was really good for the money you pay .
We arrived at 9:30 evening and were met with a drink and a band then shown to the restaurant for our evening meal ( my husband travelled in jeans but if you were in shorts they put a cold buffet on for you at 10:30 ) they have a long pants in the evening rule and people say they didn't know but if you book a hotel surly you research it first and it's all over trip advisor that this is a rule for evening meal .
After dinner we checked in and this was fast and our luggage was delivered with in 10 minutes to our room . I emailed the hotel a couple of weeks before requesting a top floor room and this was what we got . It had a large balcony and a pool / sea view it was a lovely room .There is a safe and cold drinks and beer in the fridge also tea and coffee . The bathroom is nice and the shower powerful and always hot . People complained there's not enough drawers but I found there to be plenty of space it's only a holiday your not living here . The room girls were polite and friendly and most days we were left petals on the bed .
Breakfast were great so much choice the best I seen the same at evening dinner the food was always good with lots of choice . The staff couldn't do enough for you and our waiter always got us a wine bucket with ice and left the bottle for us the wine for all inclusive is good .We ate in the Krystal and the Morrocan and the food here was good and staff lovely a nice change from the buffet restaurant . We never had trouble finding a table for two and found the restaurant very nice . At lunch we sat outside by the promenade and again the food choice was really good and always a high standard . Also deserts are as good as they look.
The pool was really nice and we always found a spot where we wanted to be we left our towels out on the way to breakfast 8 :30 / 9:00 but the pool guys are great I always found people beds any time they arrived . There are two pool Bars so it's not far to either of them no matter where you sit but morning and afternoon they came round with a drinks trolley which is a nice touch . I never waited more than a couple of minutes at any bar for a drink the staff here are really good .
Out and about it's very safe and you don't get hassled my husband and I walked out most evenings along the promenade and it was lovely if anyone asked you to buy anything a polite no was enough and they left you alone there are lots of police about and they won't let them hassle people so they don't . One day I walked alone to the pharmacy at 7 pm because my husband need eye drops and I felt quiet safe . We hired bikes and cycled to the marina which was nice . It's a lovely beach and nice to walk on but we didn't sunbathe here as it was to busy for us .
The staff do not favour the French but they can have a chat with them as they speak French and their English is not as good but I never felt we didn't get a good service and it was consistently good . The hotel management are always walking round asking if everything is okay and for us it was but I feel sure if you have a problem it would be sorted quickly .
We do tip but it's impossible to tip everyone so you pick people that stand out but I must say it was hard as they were all good .
Weather wise we were lucky it was a bit cloudy till 10 but then clear skies and nice and hot about 33 / 35 most days with a nice breeze ( one afternoon it was a bit more than a breeze lol but still nice as it was so hot ) we only had the mist on our last day but it only lasted two hours then the sun burnt through and it was still warm in the mist .
Also another thing is we didn't see one fly anywhere which is really good and I didn't get bitten which again is a first I also didn't use my mossie spray a first for me .
I think some people look for fault and are never happy but I feel it can't always be 100% but this is a really good hotel and the staff are friendly and give a good service the grounds are stunning and it is spotless and food is consistently good so if your going you will enjoy it if your thinking about it just book it . This is with out a doubt the best hotel in Agadir .
