We stayed at he Atlantic Palace Resort in March. The pool was fabulous - very cold even though it was supposed to be heated. The service was excellent - towels provided and assistance getting sunbeds if required. It was a quiet time at the hotel so there was plenty of space and plenty of beds. Close to the seafront which had a great promenade. Food in the hotel was average and very expensive. Plenty of restaurants nearby which were excellent. Would recommend Little Norway for fish and steak.

Room Tip: Would get a room with a pool view

We stayed at t Atlantic palace at Easter. As with most hotels it rates a * lower. However, you get what you pay for: nice big rooms with flat screen tv( bbc world & CNN );, great big pool( they say it's heated but it was quite cold). Breakfast is lovely buffet with variety of Moroccan and continental varieties; and food at pool side restaurant is lovely. Prices for drinks are high. Local beer around €3.50/4.50 ; minerals around €3.-. We did t eat at the restaurants at t hotel as there are lovely restaurants within a 5 mins walk. This is our 2nd time at this hotel. First time we opted for garden view room; this time for garden view terrace. I prefer the privacy of the garden view terrace rather than pool view where everybody walks by all the time. Would go for garden view terrace next time as its nice and big. Gym is below average and really could do with some updating; spa prices are high so we went to the argana spa at the agador hotel instead( go for the 1 hour massage- Berber massage not worth it and complete waste of time). The Atlantic palace is not at the beach but you only have to cross the road, walk up a path and you're there at t boulevard. Don't expect children's entertainment or adult entertainment. Most of the people are French speaking ; about 20/25% English speaking. Most people just come to relax at the pool, read a book and be left alone. If this is your idea of a holiday , you are looking at t right place.
Only negative: wish t pool guys wouldnt allow clients to put magazines on beds- or worse : they put towels there themselves and reserve them for their favourite( paying!) guests of choice- French elderly guests were the worst by far!

Spent a week in Agadir Palace over Easter Holidays. Lovely hotel. Reception/bar/restaurant areas very stylish. Swimming Pool large and enough beds for the time of year. Bedroom had two very large beds, minibar safe and decent bathroom. Lack of toiletries a bit cheap I thought for a hotel advertising itself a five star. Stayed in a garden view room which looked out on a derelict building so may be worth upgrading to pool view if reasonably priced. Found the room cleaning left a lot to be desired. Just seemed to change towel, empty bin and make up beds. No evidence of sweeping or washing floors etc. Found breakfasts very good if a little repetitive. Staff very friendly and professional with the exception stated above in respect to maid service. Hotel located close to a number of decent restaurants which a bonus. Would I stay he again? Yes definitely.

Just back from a holiday in Agadir, Morocco. The Atlantic Palace Hotel is really lovely - large, bright rooms and fabulous big pool. I didn't eat any meals in the hotel as I was told by my friends that the restaurants weren't great (breakfast was great though), however there is some lovely restaurants within a 5 minute walk, my favourite one being Little Norway (great steak!)

We checked out a number of other hotels while we were there and while they also looked amazing, they didnt have the same traditional moroccan decor and atmosphere that we found in the Atlantic Palace.

Very friendly and helpful staff

We spent a week at The Atlantic Palace hotel Agadair for one week from 11th of Feb. Check in took about 20mins for 3 couples, Bags were taken to our room whilst we checked in, have to say it was difficult to find our room as the hotel layout can be a bit confusing at first glance especially in the dark.

Rooms very clean and spacious although not upgraded (a bit 80s) for a 5 star hotel. We stayed at a garden view room which was very quiet with a nice balcony.

Big choice for breakfast everything very fresh and tasty, choice of hot food, pastries and fruit,
was more enough, Plenty of room in the breakfast room so no waiting for tables.

We didnt eat at the restaurants in the hotel as we found great value out side for example the Marina, For drinks we would recommend Le Jour du Nuit for a quick drink i had a vodca and Coke for 3.50e and they pour a double. For food we ate twice at Le Nil bleu great entertainment and cous cous for 7.50e well worth it, Fabulous bar at the Marina Le nil Blanc but was very dead in Febuary.

The pool was the best feature of the hotel very relaxing, clean and quiet. The staff are very helpful giving fresh towels every time you arrive at the pool. There a big parosols above the sunbeds for when it gets to hot.

You can change your money at reception, taxi rank right outside the hotel. Beach less than 5 min walk.

The chambermaid are excellent you can phone reception at your convenience to get your room cleaned.

Avoid drinking at the hotel bar as it is quiet expensive (dublin prices)

We spent a week in Agadir, staying at the Atlantic Palace from the 18th Feburary. The Hotel met our expectations initially with the pictures matching reality - they actually do it justice.

The reception is very welcoming, a nice cup of Moroccan tea whilst we wait to check in and get settled, in the meantime the bags are en-route to your room.

We opted for the Pool view, and were lucky enough to be slightly off the pool area and facing the Restaurant area. A little bit more secluded which suited us nicely.

The rooms are well appointed, large with plenty storage, reasonable mini bar, and petite balcony. However as comfortable as the two double beds are together, for a couple one of the double beds is really redundant.

The breakfast buffet is great, you can have your choice of pastries, cooked breakfast (French style), omelettes, fruits and so on... However, we opted for lighter pastries and fruit as the meals we enjoyed in Agadir were excellent (Check out our Restaurant feedback for more).

The location is handy for the beach, although perhaps around a 20 minute walk to the marina area and the majority of thee restaurants in Agadir on the beach. But the place is safe, enjoyable walk (during the day and evening) and what's more it's very clean.

Back to the Hotel - there is a card which for 500 Dh or €50 you can enjoy many discount in the Thalasso (Spa) and restaraunts and bars... We saved more than the €50, but for a family or people staying longer than a week you can save much more... (Feel free to contact me on how to get one of these cards at a knockdown price).

We recommend the Taj Mahal for dinner - The a la carte (every night bar Saturday) menu is varied with the Moroccan theme, Saturday night show is a buffet, the room itself if fabulous and the service is excellent.

Room Tip: Pool view is good, ours (Zagora) was off to the side facing the restaurants - not quite secluded but...
