They want to be a luxery Riad!
It is a joke.
I do not know, who gives all the good reviews.
We left after the first night (planed for 4 nights). Ugly rooms. Dirty and very worn state.
We will never come back.

Room Tip: No room,is the best choise.

We have stayed here for a week. The place itself is very nice: beautiful room, restaurant/lobby and garden. The Moroccan staff is very attentive and friendly. The restaurant in the hotel is not cheap, but the food is very good. While we stayed here, we were the only guests. Maybe that was the reason that the French owners (who are living in the hotel) weren't very happy. We didn't find them very hospitable or welcoming. Another disadvantage is the location of the hotel, more or less in the middle of nowhere. You definitely need your own transport when staying here (you can safely park on the premises).

Our stay has been very nice and comfortable and the RIAD is really higly qualified and it' s the best that we found in Maroc.
The service and the staff has been especially kind, with discretion and not noisy; and what to say about the "cuisine"! Fantastic.
The environment is the best for relax and it' s very good to spend time also staying in the Riad, enjoying the swimming pool and the quiet.
Good position not too far from the beach and for recreation (horse riding, tennis, massages, hammam and other).

No question the best place to stay in Agadir for romantic getaway. Service far better than any five star hotel in town. The location is remote as has been noted, but not impossible to get to. The best would be if you had your own car. Its only a 10 minute drive into the center of town. The setting is beautiful in a eucalyptus forest and the riad itself is a treasure. The rooms are large and intimate at the same time. Food delicious and service outstanding. Huge king size bed, large soaking tub, private garden or balcony. Welcome with a fruit basket and Moroccan pastries, delicious homemade breakfast, lunch served by the pool. It really doesn't get better than this for just relaxing. If you stay here you will feel so sorry for all the people at the huge package hotels when you get to retreat to your own private palace.

I have just returned from a glorious week at Riad des Golfs and am very surprised to read some of the negative reviews.
It is a beautiful, discrete, quiet and perfectly formed riad with charming service and excellent food well away from the concrete blocks of Agadir.
I have stayed many times in Morocoo, including at the Villa des Orangers, Dar Ayniwen, La Maison Arabe, Les Deux Tours, Mamounia and Tigmi in Marrakech, Villa Maroc in Essaouira, and Kasbah de Toubkal in the Atlas, and Riad des Golfs, despite the uninspiring name (it is a 10 minute walk from two golf courses), is up there with all of them.
The public rooms are beautiful - classic Moroccan style without being cliched; the bedrooms are large and comfortable with great bathrooms; the pool and gardens, though small, were perfectly formed.
But what sets Riad des Golfs apart is the quality of personal service - from the owner Paule and, most impressive, from the local staff, particularly Mustafa - and the quality of the food, beautifully prepared and presented by the chef Fatima with alternating French and Moroccan cuisine. A sample menu: scallops and endives in a cream sauce, red mullet with sauce vierge, beef fillet with rosti, tea granita with glazed rose petals.
In comparison, we drove the 80km one evening to Taroudant to eat at the Gazelle d'Or, where for more than twice the price, we ate a much less impressive dinner in an old-fashioned and fading dining room with impersonal service that lacked any semblance of charm. We also ate out at La Madrague and had a frankly poor meal with poor service.
If you want to stay in an impersonal hotel with a fully stocked mini-bar, 24 hour room service and wifi, great, don't come here and stay in one of the monster hotels in Agadir. If you are looking for a few days of peace and quiet at the end of a stay in Morocco - don't stay at the beginning of your break as you will be disappointed by everywhere else - then I can highly recommend Riad des Golfs.
On the other hand, it is almost too intimate to stay here with young children, and, I would recommend staying here away from high season - it could be too busy when full.
