If your looking for a hotel that is family orientated & fun for kids this is the place in agadir , from the entertainment team to the staff they are all committed to make your holiday a fun one , the rooms are clean & are changed every day , we had room # 3052 , and ideal close to beach & pool , food at this hotel cater for European with lots of cold meats & salads and meny hot dishes of morrocan taste , ideal for family's .
The beer & wine is ok could do with more varieties , I think the all inclusive is must in this hotel .

I have spent the holiday with my family in this hotel three weeks ago. It was stolen my electronic device at this hotel on the last day of my stay there. The el. device was very important for me and by the way it was quite expensive as well. You can say it can happen... Yes, you are right it can but... I have contacted directly the hotel manager and I have asked him to investigate that and I wanted to contact the local police as well. I was a little bit surprised when the hotel manager told me that they investigate it themselves and the police presence is not necessary. But I have seen no rush from their side and the lack of interest to solve that situation, too. I could not to postpone my flight and the hotel manager promised me to finish the investigation and to inform me about the results. Nothing happened till now!! I have sent several e-mails to the hotel management, no respond! Due to these facts I am sure that the hotel management is really not interested in troubbles of hotel guests if they have some. Do you want to spend your time at the hotel like this? Me not. Not at all. Never again...

Dear Peter,

We sincerely regret reading that we were not able to provide you with an enjoyable and relaxing family holiday at our IBEROSTAR Founty Beach hotel and are grateful for the time and effort you took out of your day to review your overall stay among us. We appreciate all of your input, as it helps us identify areas that could use more attention to detail.

Fortunately cases of robbery are highly exceptional in our hotels, but can happen like anywhere else; this is why we strongly encourage our guests to use the safe available in all rooms to keep valuables and expensive electronic devices. In this case, your phone was stolen at the changing room, so there was no option of using the safe.

Whenever a guest reports a theft of a personal object not secured in the room safe, our only option is to contact the police department to fill an official complaint and provide the needed information. In this case, you were about to leave the hotel so there wasn´t much time to complete all the procedure. The manager from the hotel was in charge of the situation and as you suspected a cleaner from the hotel, decided to interview that person and to check the case with our video cameras. This is what we did after you left and when we finished, about five days after your departure, we wrote back to you, unfortunately without positive results. We found no device lost and had no notice of anyone who has stolen it.

Once again, we are sincerely sorry to hear that your stay did not live up to your expectations due to this incident as you seemed to be enjoying your stay thanks to the beauty of our grounds.

Although we deeply lament reading that your stay at our IBEROSTAR Founty Beach hotel was not as enjoyable as it could have been, we would like to thank you for sharing your observations with us because this gives us the opportunity to make improvements and thus offer all our guests a better service, which ultimately is the goal of IBEROSTAR.

Warmest Regards,

Stayed for a week with my partner. Check in was easy, but room not ready - a shame after being up since just after midnight. Our room was beautiful, large and clean.
Things deteriorated at dinner. The hotel seemed full + it was quite a scrum at the servery. Some of the waiters seemed very inexperienced. (Our table was cleared when we went back to the servery for another course. On another occasion, my partners plate was taken whilst she was still eating.) It seemed that the waiters were under pressure to turn the tables round fast due to volume of gusts.
There was plenty of choice for food, although the meat seemed rationed and you had to be quite forceful to get more.
Sunbeds were an issue with no enough to go round. Guests were out before 6 am reserving their beds. The hotel had a policy of no reserving sunbeds but this wasn't enforced. There were a lot of eastern European guests who seemed to be on short breaks and were obviously not worldly wise. They were extremely ignorant and rude. They would push into the queues at bars and in the restaurant. They would bring glasses to the pool area which was forbidden + quite dangerous. These guests really spoiled the holiday for us. The staff were at pains to apologise for them and advised us not to come to this hotel at this time of year! ?The were saying to stay in February, March or April. The staff were all friendly and were doing there best and were clearly very busy. I saw some managers strutting about, but didn't see any direction or management from them.
The worst aspect for me was the bars. There are two bars. One in reception and another in the very large function room under the restaurant. The reception bar was overwhelmed by rude Polish guests who are prepared to knock you out of the way or steal your drinks if they can't get served. The other bar is massive, but it is at the back of the large function room and the lights are always off!!! A quick look into the room revealed only children's entertainment. A real shame.
The animation team were very good, not too pushy during day + really funny during their nightly events.
The hotel is beautifully kept, but it appears this takes over from managing the running of the hotel. There are many rules which are not enforced e.g. dress standards, sunbeds, food and glasses round the bar.
I have never stayed at a hotel and seen such frustrated guests and frankly overwhelmed staff e.g. pool bar during day and reception bar at night + restaurant at evening meal.

Tip - Wait until approx. 20:30 before going for your evening meal. The large queues and pushing and shoving will be over by then. The waiters have time for you too.

Room Tip: Obtain a room with a sea view or a garden room. Quite a few to the rear of the hotel are over the ki...

Dear Guest,

Thank you for your feedback on your recent holiday experience at our IBERTOSTAR Founty Beach hotel. We take our guest comments very seriously and always strive to provide comfortable and friendly accommodations. We are sorry for the shortfalls you have experienced during your stay. Your comments are highly valuable and will assist us in our continuous efforts to maintain and improve the service level we aim for.

Firstly we sincerely regret reading your disappointment at the time of check in, however we would like to point out that, as reported on the booking confirmation, check in starts at 14.00, and even though we always do our utmost to guarantee the rooms to be ready for our early arrivals, during the peak season when the hotel is fully booked, we may not be able to as our housekeeping staff needs the appropriate time to undertake a thorough cleaning of the rooms before assigning them to new guests.

Moreover, please receive our sincerest apologies if you experienced any inconsistency in our service, we passed on your comments on our waiting staff to our Management team for revision and improvement.

We also took good note of your comments related to some guests bringing glasses to the pool area, as you well say it is forbidden and we will do our utmost so as to prevent this from happening in the future.

On the other hand, we are very grateful for your highlights on the comfort and cleanliness of the room we accommodated you in as well as for your kind words towards our animation staff; their enthusiasm is contagious and they strive to offer a wide variety of leisure and sport activities throughout the day as well as entertaining evening shows to make our guests' stay a memorable one.

Please be assured that we took your comments into consideration and that they will help us to improve our services. We really thank you for your time and despite the issues you have raised following your stay, we hope that IBEROSTAR will remain an option for your next holiday and that we will have the opportunity to restore your faith in our company in the near future.

Kindest Regards,

Me and my boyfriend had a really relaxing holiday it was so fabulous.
The room was lovely and spacious and always kept very clean as was the pool area where we spent most of our time.
The hotel is very close to the beach so great for daytime relaxing but was also great for lovely evening walks along the sand.
We found all the food delicious even if we did have to do a bit of queuing.

We have just arrived back after spending a week at Founty Beach. We just wanted to chill out and relax after spending a week in Marrakech. Checking in was a breeze even though our room was not ready at 2.15pm. We were advised to have some lunch and our room would be ready which it was. We were given an upgrade to a garden room, which was spacious, a nice shower and clean white bed linen and towels. If I had to be picky the cleaning could have been better in the corners of the room and the plug sockets. The hotel is mainly filled with Germans and French holidaymakers so you have to be up bright and early to reserve a sunbed as the hotel does not seem to enforce the sign about not reserving sunbeds. The variety of food on offer is great and for someone like me who has severe food allergies and has to stick to a strict diet I did not find this a problem. The restaurant staff are a bit over zealous at clearing the tables, even throwing away our drinks when we got up to get dessert and they didn't always replenish the cutlery when having cleared the table. The daytime animation team work hard and you are not pressured in anyway to join in. I cannot comment on the nightly shows as my husband and I tended to stay in the bar.the swimming pool is clean and quite big albeit cold. At times it can be windy and this doesn't make a nice experience sitting on the beach, which we did for only 1 day. The marina is about a 45-50 min walk along the promenade. It is worth a stretch of the legs, along the way there are bars and restaurants and of course people selling gifts, but a polite 'no thank you' and they move onto the next person. There is wifi in reception but it is very slow especially after mealtimes. A taxi from the bus station is 40dhr and a taxi booked through the hotel to the airport is 220dhr and is about a 30min journey. The only let down of this hotel is the attitude of the bar staff in both the bars. They are non attentive, rude towards the british and are more interested in having a conversation between themselves than to be serving. They never listened to your order and you would have to repeat it to them. You also have to pay 30dhr per day for the safe plus leave an additional 100dhr as a deposit for the safe key. You also have to pay 100dhr per pool towel as a deposit which you get back at the end of your holiday.

Dear Dawn,

Thank you so much for the time you took out of your day to share a review on your holiday experience at our IBEROSTAR Founty Beach hotel; We appreciate all of your input, as it helps us identify areas that could use more attention to detail.

We sincerely regret reading your comments on our bar staff and even though, fortunately, this is not the usual feedback we receive normally, we will not fail to pass on your comments to our head of department for information and of course, if necessary for improvement.

On the other hand, we are glad you were satisfied with the comfort and cleanliness of the room we accommodated you in as well as with the quality of our buffets; as you well say our Chefs strive to please all palates and cater for all diet requirements, we are thrilled you enjoyed your dining experiences among us.

Once again, thank you for your time, we hope that you had a pleasant journey back home and to have the pleasure of welcoming you again in our IBEROSTAR hotels in the most beautiful destinations worldwide.

We stayed at this lovely hotel with our 2 year old. We loved the public areas and especially the pool area. The staff were wonderful friendly and attentive even though clearly busy. We found the choice and quality of food to be very good especially dinner, lunch would be improved by maybe having a few Moroccan choices. The big letdown were the beds two singles pushed together but with seperate bed linen, the beds appeared to be on wheels they kept moving apart during the night and had the squeaky sound of campbeds!

The Hotel is the best in Agadir.
The staff is very nice and helpful. Everyone did their best to help us.
Food is delicious and you have a great variety of choice.
Localization is perfect - in a quiet part of the city but at the same time you have a walking distance to the centre.
Rooms are cleaned every day.
There is nothing that could make you dissapointed.
I recommend Iberostar Founty Beach in 100% !!!
