We are a family of five - one 19 year old and twins of 12.
We decided to make the most of our holiday after reading mixed reviews. Ignore the bad reviews.
Hotel - beautiful throughout and very ethnic. Always clean, in fact we were mesmerised at how hard the cleaning staff worked each day. The rooms had everything you needed and the shower was always hot.
Food - Buffet was good - we always found something to eat. The kids miss having pancakes for breakfast and the omelettes were amazing. The Moroccan restaurant was lovely for a fixed menu. If you go into the same bit of the restaurant each time a waiter adopts you and sets up your table with bread and drinks every day. A little tip from time to time goes a long way.
Beach - excellent private beach which did not allow the trades people on. You could order your sandwiches in the morning and they were delivered at lunch time. Basic, but we didn't eat much for lunch anyway. Free drinks from the bar where they really looked after you.
Staff - All the staff were excellent. The bar staff remember what you drink every time and if you tip them even 20Dh you get even better service. They even taught us some Arabic. The cleaner was lovely even though her English was not good. She came to say goodbye as we left. The Animation team were great. No pressure to join in the activities but much more fun if you do. Even the lifeguards ended up friends with us. A very happy bunch of people with the attitude "Enjoy life".
Trips - We went to Marrakesh for the day - so different from Agadir. An experience.
Other guests - If you want to be with lots of English people, not the place for you. Mostly Eastern European, French and Belgian which we think makes for a more interesting holiday.
Entertainment - dancing every day and night around the pool. We got very fit very quickly. The shows were good, although the sketch shows (only about two of them) got lost in translation. The Miss/Mr Agador and dancing competitions were hilarious. The nice thing about the evenings was that no-one got uncontrollably drunk, kids were included all the time and the music stopped at midnight. Very considerate towards the hotel guests.

After watching all the other guests for two weeks my advice would be to smile at all the staff and say hello. You get much better service for it, even without tipping. They all work 12-13 hour shifts, six days a week and never stop. All for less than £200 per month. Appreciate them and they will be friends for life. My eldest daughter cried all the last day, which we found very funny, because she didn't want to leave.
Take their philosophy on board and 'enjoy lif'e. We intend to go back at Easter and can't wait.

We stayed here for 2 weeks in July its a lovely hotel very big and with all the amenities its ideal for families or couples!! not for older people as there are a lot of steps around the hotel !!! the animation team at the hotel are the best I've seen in any hotel I've ever been there brilliant with both the adults and the children they have activities all day and entertainment every night there is something different on! The rooms are ok cleaned everyday! we did have to be moved due to my friend falling and hurting her leg to a ground floor room which was closer to the pool and really modern it was lovely nicer then the other room the reception staff could not do enough to help us they moved us by the afternoon fantastic service.
There are 4 pools here but you do need to get there early in peak season as there are more people than beds!! The food in the hotel is nice breakfast was always good and you have a variety all other meals as well as the themed restaurants if you fancy a change.
The weather is a bit hit or miss as well overcast till lunch boiling then in the afternoon and chilly at night so take a wrap.
This hotel is not and Agadir in general is not for groups of Youngsters as there is nothing much to do once the bar shuts in the hotel unless you go down to the marina or go to the Hotel club which was only open 1 night whilst we were there due to ramadan which was disappointing!! We did venture out to the hotel across the the road called the beach club which did have a club and was open till 4am it was ok but nothing special!!
Over all we had a lovely holiday and would recommend this hotel as it has lovely little shops and other stalls all around the complex but you do have to haggle they can be quite pushy and rude if you don't buy so be aware.

Room Tip: Ask for one close to the big pool as they have been recently renovated and are a lot nicer than the...

Just back from this delightful hotel. First arrival I was unsure of the type of hotel we had gone to, as the reception area and bar are a bit dated. On being shown to our room, the garden area changed my opinion of it straightaway. All the rooms are located in Riads dotted around the complex, and although quite basic we're well presented, and exceptionally clean. The dining room was a little on the large informal side, but served its purpose. Food was your standard all inclusive fare. The only let down being not much choice of mains. Chicken or fish, which was very nice, but a wider choice would have been preferred. 5 a la carte restaurants, Japanese, Fish, Moroccan, Italian and Steakhouse helped to compensate. The Moroccan being the best one. The pool area was surrounded by sunbeds, but you had to be up at the crack of Dawn to reserve one, despite a sign telling you not to, before 9am. The pool ar could be busy at times, but the staff were very friendly, and even remembered your drinks.
Outside the hotel, there are a few shops, and a nice little restaurant that seats only 15. The prices are very good and for a 3 course meal, for four, with a beer a piece, and 3 bottles of wine cost us £110 for the four of us. The animation team are very good, and always on the go. Very friendly, and eager to mix nationalities. Would I return here, yes, I would, but want to see other places, and hotels within Agadir.

Room Tip: WiFi is hit and miss, and best place to obtain a fairly decent signal is in reception.

I am going to try and keep this brief...
We went here on the 16th june for two weeks. The weather was amazing this time of year, really hot with slight winds. Towards the end of the two weeks there were some fog that started creeping in the mornings, but we had had such good weather before this that it didn't bother us.
The rooms are just ok. The décor was to be expected given that it states the rooms are in a Moroccan style, but the cleanliness was pretty poor. The floors were absolutely filthy, so I would take some cheap slippers you can throw away if you have booked this hotel. Also noticed the maids threw rubbish from the rooms in between the buildings where there are recesses. Not quite what you expect I guess! Although it has to be said that the maid we had was very pleasant, in fact, most of the staff were to be honest. I don't go on holiday to chat to the receptionists so maybe this is why it didn't bother me that they weren't interested in anything.
Onto the food.... Absolutely Appalling. We stay All inclusive every year and by far this has been the worst of them all. The food is the same, day in day out. My kids even got fed up of the pancakes!! Admittedly some of the food was nice, especially the salads, but the monotonous of it was the problem.... Same as has been said, some days we struggled to get plates etc, but if you go early you will be fine. We also tipped the waiter so we had a table. We did this just to make it easier at meal times with 2 kids.
Sunbeds were a nightmare to get hold of. I had to start and get up at 6am just to get them. Absolutely ridiculous! in our last few days they brought out deck chairs as there is just not enough beds to cater for everyone.

At the end of the day, yes the price we paid was pretty cheap, BUT it doesn't excuse the fact we had to eat out most nights as the food was so poor, making our holiday much more expensive. We could have actually booked into a much nicer hotel with what we ended up spending there, which does annoy me slightly. Having said that, that's why we ate out most of the time and there are some fabulous places to eat. It is also very reasonable to eat out and we agreed that if we were to go again, we would consider self catering or bed and breakfast.
I do feel like I have focused more on the negatives, but I have also included all the positives! its just that they are outweighed unfortunately.
Morocco is a beautiful place to holiday, and there are a few things to do with the kids such as the little zoo, and the train. We would definitely go back, just to a different hotel.

We travelled as a group of 3 women with a 9 and 1 year old. The hotel inits self was pleasant enough the staff were friendly and the grounds were clean, we never had a problem with plastic cutlery or not finding a table in the restaurant but this May be because we had to eat early because of the little one. The food was ok you certainly wouldn't go hungry but it does get a bit boring and repetitive towards the end of the 2nd week. Because of this we found a few hidden gems around to eat la scala just outside the rear entrance is beautiful very good with a screaming teething child too! If you want traditional Moroccan food we recommend le mogador (out front exit keep walking right) it looks a little shabby kinda like a greasy spoon but trust us the food is beautiful, the little man and his wife treat you just like family, a lovely experience! Although our room was a little under cleaned it didn't affect our holiday we had a word with reception and the maid (around 80yrs old) came and made sure it was cleaned.

If you want excursions or henna tattoos go visit the guys on the wall by the private beach! Lovely friendly people but don't forget to haggle they will start off high we got a 2hr hamam and massage for 200dh half the price of everywhere else and we'll worth it! Also the bikes are a good idea if you want to see all of the seafront and all the restaurants it has to offer. The sellers along here can get a bit irritating but learn a few Arabic words from the nice locals you meet and they won't bother you much more. We recommend going on a camel trek for the experience but for the best camel ride stick to the hotel and go on chocolate! He is beautiful very we'll cared for and looked after camel his owner is so passionate about him he calls him his 4th child lol so lovely to see is a culture that only want to make money.

Sunbeds are a problem with there not being enough but what do you expect with nearly 2000 guests? And most of them being French and Russian. We witnessed a fight over the sunbeds one day very amusing!

We did get upset stomachs (adults only) I think this was down to mostly the change is diet rather than the way it was prepared we were trying most things and the children stuck to what they knew. But this only lasted 2 days at the most.

The shop vendors on site are all lovely, but if you say I'll come back later they will remember! The souk is an experience that we wish never to repeat its so busy and big and dirty this is the only place we saw cockroaches in the whole time we were on holiday. Music from the pool area was really loud and shows were on a little late for us. We were in room 2623. Tipping even a small amount will get you a long way we gave our waiter between 10 and 20dh a day and he had our table set up with a high chair, got us bread and drinks every meal time. If you go outside on excursions or treatments tips are expected from the staff so be sure to take small change.

I hope we have given a clear review as we said go with an open mind and make the most of it a holiday is what you make it considering the cercumstances.

Room Tip: 2623 lovely top room lots of stairs but a beautiful view if you don't mind the noise at night I...

Just had 2 weeks, of what could only be described as shocking service. The food hygiene is none existent with chefs constantly handling food with bare hands that are never washed. Drinks are served by bar staff who limit you to 2 drinks and rarely offer a smile unless tipped. Avoid the ice unless you want guaranteed upset stomach. The hotel and surroundings are noisy until 2am most nights. One good point with the food been so poor we found a great restaurant called O Playa it's 5 mins on the beach front from the hotel, where the food and service is great (fillet steak £10), well worth a visit. Finally watch out for the child pick pockets operating around the Mc Donald's which had to be visited to keep the kids fed. Don't book to go here!!

Room Tip: Book another hotel
