“Just perfect”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 December 2013

Very welcoming, clean and stilish hotel in Casablanca.
Spa is good too, except for staff not so good in english.
The "style" is european, the rooms are small but good, breakfast is vary and high level.
Restaurant and bar are very good too.
Nothing to complain, I had a bad feeling reading the reviews before to confirm this hotel, as for the noise from the disco, but fortunately our room was at the second floor and on the other side from the disco, so we had a good rest all nights long.
If I have to say something to improve.. for this kind of stars hotel the facilities in the toilette should be more and the bed... bigger... as actually it is french size! (At least what we had). Ant the cover, too much for that kind of weather if people like me are not used to night air conditioning.
Bytheway, except for these few things, everything was perfect. Location too: amazing ocean view with so big waves...

Room Tip: Second floor, opposite side to the disco

My HQ in town. One of the best European cuisine restaurant in town (local standards) - based on a proven Parisian concept (l'entrecote with its famous sauce). The lounge bar is also a cool place. The rooms are very nice and they have a tiny, very cured spa.

It was my first trip to Casablanca and I was recommended to stay at Villa Blanca for 3 nights. This proved to be a very bad choice. This is not a hotel but rather a restaurant combined with a bar and a busy night club above which there are rooms. I took the suite room 301 and I checked in at 10h00pm but got into the room 45 mins later as the reception had a problem with the credit card terminal. From the moment I checked in, issues after issues made me realise this was a bad mistake to have stayed there: I had some valuables stolen from my hand luggage, the sofa and couch on the balcony were filthy with dust and have not been cleaned for a while, the noise coming from the bar and night club plus the strobe lights make it impossible to sleep in the room (I was on the 3rd floor, one can imagine the nightmare on the floors below, or during the weekends...), any complains to the customer service at the reception are not being taken up which make it the case that there is no customer service. Despite the good location by the sea, I do regret this awful choice. If you are on a business trip or just a relaxing vacation, this place is definitely not an option unless you intent to stay up all night.

Room Tip: You will get disrupting noise coming from the bar and the night club to all rooms.

We checked into Villa Blanca on the last night of our two weeks in Morocco to make the long journey back to Los Angeles easier by flying the first leg from the Casablanca airport instead of Marrakesh, as recommended by a misguided travel agent we used. We planed to have a nice relaxing dinner and sleep before our long 25+ hours of travel to get back home. What a mistake and so unfortunate since it is the last impression of an otherwise wonderful vacation.

We arrived after a long car ride and our room was available - on the first floor right above the front door. We knew that was likely to be a problem and we requested a change and were told no - the hotel was full. We did have a nice dinner in the restaurant - good food and a nice atmosphere. Service there was also good.

The bar was starting to kick off when we headed upstairs for bed and the sound in our room was loud, even louder once the disco started. You could actually feel the floor pounding a bit. Things got even worse as it appears the stairwell outside our room was the preferred place for disco guests to carry on private conversations at ridiculously loud levels to be heard over the "music". There was no way to sleep especially since cigarette smoke was seeping under the door.

Service from the hotel staff was non existent to the point of making me feel I was bothering them with any request. One exception to this was the lovely doorman who greeted us when we arrived and who was there at our early morning departure - as we were checking out at the front desk he doubled checked our room for us and found a book my husband forgot.

This hotel is a very poor choice unless you are a hip, young Moroccan intent on staying up all night partying and smoking.

Room Tip: There are no good rooms.

My friends and I arrived late, exhausted and ready to start our Moroccan vacation. This hotel was perfect for our stay. The bell hop took care of all of our bags, we checked in with ease and the room was beautiful with two king size beds, clean bathroom and overall impressive decor. When we finally awaken, we realized we lost our safety pins and called down to see if the front desk had any. We were thrilled that the butler brought three sewing kits and then offered to run out and buy us whatever we needed. I stay at hotels very frequently for work and never has any hotel staff membered offered to go out and purchase things I needed. So nice. The night club was a blast (we knew it would be loud from the reviews ahead of time) and we fully made use of the bar and partied all the way until 3am so the noise didn't bother us at all. The next day when we left, the hotel arranged the taxi to the train station and actually called the cab driver once we had left to inform us that we had left a Burberry jacket in the closet. We went back to retrieve it, and I was so thankful to have it returned. Very honest, great service and outstanding property. I would highly recommend staying here for a good time.

Villa Blanca is located on the Corniche overlooking the sea and walking distance from a brand new shopping center. Villa Blanca is a 4 star hotel, so don't expect 5 star treatment. This is also not a hotel for families or for anyone looking for peace and quiet. The hotel fits the "trendy" label and is perfect for anyone coming to Casablanca to party. It houses Sky Bar and Le Carre Club, two of Casa's nightlife hotspots. There is also a nice spa downstairs, but I was not impressed by the quality of their treatments.

Room Tip: Try to get a room on a high floor to be as far away from the music and noise of Sky Bar and Le Carre...
