Owner description: This stately mosque, a fine example of pure Moroccan architecture, is the only one in the city that non-Muslims may visit.

The is a very wonderful place to visit, and is a great learning experience for a non Muslim.

You should check schedules to make sure that you will be able to get in. If you have to readjust you schedule to visit. I was here in 2011, and could not get it.

The architecture, materials, and the artistic quality of the building are amazing.

I think this would be a great visit, and educational experience for a non Muslim, and you would also see things that you would not normally see as a non Muslim.

You can certainly understand after visiting the Hassan II Mosque why Muslims are very proud of this building.

We arrived a bit early for the 2pm tour but that gave us time to soak up the majesty of this amazing building. Our English speaking guide was informative and entertaining. You cannot help by feel how special this place is.

The mosque is renowned for its size but the outside is rather bland. I have certainly many far more attractive mosques (at least from the outside).

We only saw part of the inside accompanied by one of the staff (I think?), which looked pretty ornate and impressive but I would not bother to go unless you can get access to the interior with one of the tours (only held at certain times of the day).

This is just famous because of its size, which is impressive. Forget the interior - waste of time. There are better mosques in many other places.

The Hassan II Mosque is very impressive, extremely large, ornate, and clean. You cannot wander around the Mosque on your own, you must be taken in by a tour guide that is arranged at the ticket office. The tours are offered in different languages, and visitors are 'batched' based on the language preference. So if there are lots of English visitors, your tour group will be very large. When I visited, there were about 40 English speakers. Lucky French speakers, with only three. The building is magnificent and so large in scale that it is hard to comprehend. Interior photos are tricky due to the dark interior and points of light from a limited number of windows. To keep such a large building clean, constant cleaning needs to happen so don't be surprised to hear the sound of buffing equipment spoiling the atmosphere. Impressive and worth a visit.
