“Impressive and Casablanca's Top Site”
Reviewed 21 May 2014

It's as impressive inside as it is outside. The tickets for the tour can be purchased near the Mosque's minaret (tower) where you go down stairs. Tours are offered in 4 languages. Our tour guide was informative and tried his best. It's as impressive as the Vatican in size and architecture. The tour also takes you to the basement where there is a large hammam (bath). This is one of the few mosque's that will allow westerner's in. They were not so strict about clothes, with shorts being allowed and a bag was provided for shoes. Pretty expensive compared to every other govt tourist site but this was pretty expensive to build.

It is a magnificent mosque built in a Moroccan style. a must see for anyone visiting this city. It is best to check about the schedule of the organized tours to be able to see the interior.

“It is a Wonder of the world.”
Reviewed 19 May 2014 via mobile

Perching over the seashore in Casablanca is this beautiful mosque being built in honor of King Hassan II. The mosque looks grand however rather simple from the exterior and from a distance. Being the only mosque in Morocco that allow tourists to visit, it became a very unique destination by itself. Approaching the mosque from the grand patio, the main structure was very inviting itself.

Once entering the main entrance into the mosque, the vastness of the hall, the simplicity of the decor, and the perfection of the engineering in building the mosque gave you another perspective of the place. The mosque doesn't only gave out the beauty but it also told stories behind the religious believe as well as the custom of the Moroccan people.

We wished we can have more time to absolve the beauty as well as the culture of the mosque, unfortunately we had limited time and needed to be back to the coach on time. We would like to have more time to explore the areas beyond the major hall.

“Simply breathtaking”
Reviewed 18 May 2014

I did a tour of the mosque as part of a 2 week guided tour of morocco, this was on the first day. If you don't get to go inside it is still worth the walk around the mosque to see and feel the amazing site. The mosaics are just amazing the the history and culture is well worth the group tours being pushed thru. It is 1 of only 2 things I would recommend seeing and doing from my 5 days in cassablanca

“Imposing”
Reviewed 17 May 2014 via mobile

The hassan mosque is an imposing structure on the Atlantic ocean it was built by the late king hassan.
It was Avery interesting tour the mosque is open st one end to the ocean giving the visitor a breath taking view of the ocean and the best time is at sunset. There are other things to do on your visit such as a walk along the sea wall, taking in a movie. And ending with a nice dinner at one of the many eatery along the way. Nice tour very refreshing
