Hotel Relax Airport
Ranked #59 of 77 Hotels in Casablanca
Reviewed 26 January 2014

We were planning to stay at Relax, but after talking to the receptionists for a few minutes, changed our mind and walked to Atlas, another hotel located in the same building. Relax staff was simply careless, price was way too high, and they wanted cash only.

Room Tip: Avoid and go to Atlas, located in the same building - 100 m walk.

This is a rubbish place (i am using this word to be polite).
We stayed one night before our early morning flight from Casablanca to Europe. After spending 10 days in nice hotels in Morocco the experience in this hotel was awful.
1) Rooms are not clean.
2) They did not give us towels and when i asked i had been told "within 5 minutes". I got the towels after 45 minutes by physically chasing the staff between the floors.
3) Room is less than basic. It was a smoking room and even the ashes were not cleaned.
4) Internet was not working and i managed to tell it to the reception staff which were not responsive.

Anyway stay away and it would be better to stay at the airport to save your nerves.

Room Tip: Tip : never go to this hotel

Waited 2 hours to check-in to our room. The room was clean, the beds comfortable but it seemed that it was still under construction. Hotel employees walked into our room without knocking a couple of times which was strange. We had a complimentary breakfast and dinner. I can only say that the dinner, served cafeteria style, was the most disgusting meal I have ever attempted to eat. The pasta was slimy and burned, the salad was rotten, the chicken and fish were undercooked. We couldn't wait to get out of there. If you're travelling with young children steer clear of this hotel.

This 3 star hotel is mostly used by the Royal Air Maroc airline to lodge their clients with problems in their connecting flights (what seems to happen quite often). It isn’t a bad hotel, although it’s below the standard usually used by airlines in such occasions.
There’s internet (functional, though slow) only in the lobby and the beds are very good. But the sound insulation in the rooms is quite bad (which is worse if you consider there’s a constant transit of passengers/clients checking in and out) and the meals provided at the hotel restaurant (self-service system) are very basic and leave much to desire.
The shower in my room wouldn’t deliver hot water at first, but the maintenance personnel fixed it right away. Unfortunately that didn’t happen to the drain in the shower, that, by being stuck, caused a small flood in the bathroom.
The hotel is far from downtown, in a developing residential area, and there’s nothing around it. There’s a small shop in the hotel with basic toiletries and snacks, everything at very inflated prices.
There’s also a small swimming pool in a nice terrasse, which is probably welcome during summertime, and a spa with massages and other beauty treatments (60 euros for a 1 hour massage).
All in all, the only reason to willingly stay at this hotel is its proximity to the airport (there’s a free shuttle to/from the airport; the journey takes approximately 10 minutes), which may be desirable if you have an early flight or if you’re just laying over at Casablanca.

Room Tip: Rooms farther from the elevators are (a little bit) less noisy, since there are fewer people walking...

if you just want somewhere basic to sleep while waiting for connecting flight then this is the cheapest. Room was clean, modern, and comfortable. I wasn't looking for any fancy facilities.
If you want more facilities then stay at the Atlas Hotel which is attached to Relax Airport but be prepared to pay more.
Hotel has free airport shuttle that runs (aproximately, this is Morocco after all) every half hour.

Went there on business.
Rooms were filthy, no towels, no soap not even a phone in the room to call front desk!
Carpet dusty... Oh boy... Bad choice.
Next door there is another hotel way much better called Atlas.
Price was high although staff were friendly

If you have any chance to avoid this hotel in a wide berth, do that!
Dust in the rooms is something what you can't fail to see, swimming pool is something you can forget, since it is almost all the time empty, service is more than terrible. In so called restaurant, most of the time you shall see double number of the service personnel than the guests, but you shall still wait a long time for your (very poor) food or drink. Once somebody approach you for your order, personnel there is more interested to write everything in their documents, bills or what ever than to serve you first. Even after they write everything in their papers, you shall probably get something you didn't ordered at all. Maids can, but not necessary, come to "clean" your room. At the end, I have to say that this hotel is more than expensive. I hope I will never see this hotel in my life and even if there is no other option, I would rather sleep outside.
