This hotel was similar to most chains in Morocco- no safe, no coffee makers, not iron, no mini fridge, no alarm clock but did have a hair dryer,
Had to eat in hotel because of tour but buffet was passable. Coffee or tea cost an extra $4 dollars.
Pool and spa area a nice respite after a day of touring and bar in lobby was a good place to grab cocktails, watch FIFA and wind down.
Breakfast had a good variety.
Close to one of the main boulevards.
Free wifi.

After reading all the negative reviews about this establishment, we booked elsewhere. We weren't thrilled with our hotel in the Vile Nouvelle so, despite our trepidation, we checked out the Ramada in person and negotiated a reasonable rate. Perhaps the management is new as we were quite happy with our experience here. Rooms were clean, quiet and very spacious. Our room was on a high floor with a great balcony. The bathroom was big, modern and quite elegant— all decked out in marble. Beds were extremely comfortable.

There's a nice pool, gym, and spa. The smoky bar on the lobby level is great for people watching as it draws a mix of visitors and locals with live Moroccan pop music. Front desk staff were fine—not overtly friendly but helpful enough. We didn't eat at the restaurant but why would you want to eat at the Ramada when in Fes?!

While it may not have the romance of the riads in the Medina, I think the Ramada's a fine option if you're staying in the Ville Nouvelle. Its also a quick, cheap cab ride to the Medina. Just remember, everything requires some negotiation in Morocco!

Our two-day stay here was comfortable and relaxing. The hotel is neat, clean, and the staff wonderful. The food quality was great - whether traditional Moroocan or otherwise.
Pretty much in the centre of the city, all the main sites well within five miles and easily accesssible.

We prepaid on the internet ,but when we check in they said we have not paid and so we paid again.
Our credit card was debited by the internet booking agency and the hotel have tried to get payed twice.
We can recover the money from the booking agency, but DO NOT trust the management at this hotel.
They are destroying the Ramada name ,thats for sure !

The five star sign outside the hotel is way overrated, a 2 1/2 to 3 star at most. If you adjust it to that level, hotel is average.

The room is not that clean, but at least there are no hairs/stains to be seen. Then again, only two hotels I stayed in Morocco were spic and span clean (Cherguin in Erfoud and Atlas Hotel and Spa in Marrakech)

Service is terrible, just like anywhere in Morocco (refer to my pending review for Sheraton Casablanca). The restaurant manager, who's French, promised to send one pot of hot water to my room - I asked them if I can just bring my pot from dinner, but he said it's not allowed, but he will ask his staff to send a fresh pot to my room. Guess what. Never arrived.

I went with a tour, but if you're going to stay here independently, it's okay to stay here as long as the room does not cost more than USD 50!

This hotel is nice but the hotel staff is/are thief/dishonest. Our laptop was stolen from our luggage. We strongly suspected the bellhop boy who took it because we saw him carried our luggage into the private lift away from our view. When we discovered the laptop was missing at Ourzazate, we called Ramada hotel manager and were told that the bellhop boy denied taking it. He even challenged us to take him to the police station. Of course we cant do that as we already thousand miles away. Be careful with your valuables especially electronic items, carried it with you all the times.

This hotel is horrible - and I'm not just talking about the food! It's dirty. the service is lousy and the entire staff is trying to steal from you. My cell phone was stolen from my suitcase (why - it doesn't even work in Morocco). My friend had money taken from her suitcase (to be fair, there was a safe in the room and she should have used it.) Most interestingly, when my husband changed money at the desk, they shorted him. When he went back a few minutes later, the manager apologized and said the clerk who did the transaction had been distracted. I'm betting that they pull that scam on virtually everyone who changes money and keep the proceeds from those who don't figure out they were cheated.
