Dear Pascal,

Again we had a fantastic time, real service and a crew that knows what people need.
For cyclists as we are it is a fantastic place to make trips in to the Middle Atlas and on your recover day a trip to Fes and Meknes.

Patrick and Henk

We had a wonderful experience at the Riad. The decor is stylish and inviting, the rooms immaculate, and the food delicious. Even so, hospitality is still the main selling point. The owners and staff not only made our stay pleasurable, they enhanced our experience in Fes and memories of Morocco.

The hotel is situated outside Fes , 30 minutes by car. Hotel is however confortable, all the staff has been very nice and helpful with us. We hope that the owner Pascal appreciates the value of his staff as we did. Nevertheless we cannot say the same about him as he has been always present but unfortunately never said HI to us.
Breakfast was ok, Rooms nice with wonderful bed. Hotel's style very nice.

We are English but live in Spain. We had a very open mind about Morocco but initial enquiries found Hotels very expensive in Fes until we found this one and duly booked after reading the reviews. Although warned we were still shocked at the distance to Fes and the fact that the only options were expensive taxi (30 pounds round trip) or car hire. After using a taxi also for a days excursion we hired a car - 35 euros a day. We think it is important to plan for this situation and this may well depend on whether you are a 4 day visitor or a week. We were the latter. The alternative is to stay in Fes for much more money. This may be good for a weekend but for a longer stay what would you do in Fez after a few visits to the Medina.
The Hotel - very new - is lovely but most important the owners simply wonderful and very accomodating. We have also to mention Ayisha and Simo who were far from being staff as they almost felt as close as family. Owner Habija was everything you could ever wish for (lucky Pascual).
Nothing was too much trouble and both owners spoke excellent English. Pascual also arranged for his driver to take us into Fez without charge on a couple of occasions.
We ate in the Hotel every evening which was Ok but as we stayed 7 nights it became repetative for us as there was no menu choice. It was Tajine every evening although there were variations. At 20Euros each we considered this expensive as we struggled with 3 courses. In fairness though we found prices in Fes were generally expensive and certainly nowhere as cheap as in Spain. We hired a car for our final 3 days but felt uncomfortable about driving in the dark which restricted us to eating in the Hotel every evening. There are simply no alternatives nearby - Hotel or Fez 25 km away.
We hired a car the last 3 days of our visit and went south away from Fes. Scenery lovely and a must if you are on a 7 day visit.
Breakfasts were not terribly imaginative mainly bread and excellent jams. We would have liked some cheese, ham and yoghurts as a variation although Habija is keen on offering everything traditional Moroccan. Coffee was excellent. Finally a mention of the home made and handmade bread - simply fantastic.
Our bedroom was huge as was the bathroom and bed itself really very very comfortable.
We were able to swim at the Hotel and the late afternoon the mint teas were to die for and we were not charged all week for these.
Finally to say that the owners did everything they could to make our stay welcome and even gave us unlimited use of the internet in the lounge.
All things considered this is an excellent option for visitors with the caveats of the distance and dinners but forearmed you will have a lovely stay at this Hotel.

We were initially disappointed with the distance of this hotel from the medina. It is definitely more than 20 minutes driving. Driving in, parking, cabbing to medina and then trying to get back seemed daunting. However, the hotel staff assisted us in returning our rental car and arranged our cabs in/out every day which was very easy and far cheaper than a rental car.
It was very quiet at the hotel, the rooms were large, and the bathroom was huge. Unfortunately it was too cold for the outdoor pool. It was probably the most relaxing part of our trip in Morocco. The internet wifi was great and they were able to help us with a fax and printing our boarding passes. The breakfast was very good, I liked the selection of jams and the assortment of breads. The coffee was good too. We had dinner there once and it was delicious, especially the appetizer plates. Also they have a bar/lounge which is great if you want to come down for some alcoholic beverages or Moroccan tea.

Brilliant!!!! We have been traveling for over 6 months now and this is the best accomodation that we have had anywhere in Europe and Africa!! The hosts of the Riad are the most generous and wonderful people we have met on our tour! The rooms are plush. Extremely comfortable and VERY large. The food is a gastronomic delight and is the most wonderful food we had in Morocco. This is the most wonderful boutique accomodation that i have ever stayed in. You MUST treat yourself to this amazing experience!!!
