5 Star treatment tailored to your needs. Riad Andalib was the perfect haven for visiting Fez. Many times we said how glad we were to have chosen this Riad. The access is easy, the taxi can park directly outside yet the rooms are quiet; facing on to a beautiful inner courtyard which is covered in the Winter and open to the sky in the Summer. In addition to the cleanliness, the delicious food and the helpful staff, the attentiveness and practical advice of the owner, Reibal, is what made our stay in this Riad particularly memorable and enjoyable. As well as visiting Fez we also went on two day trips. Reibal found us an excellent, knowledgeable and safe driver, Idris, he came in a comfortable car, was polite and mindful of our needs too. 5 star plus.

* Excellent design and accommodations.
* The staff is very attentive and nice.
* Located right where the old city (Medina) begins, so it's not a problem to get there by car and very easy to find.
* The owner is very nice and welcoming, he would help you with navigation around the city and will tell you everything you need to know about Fez.

Perhaps one of the best experiences in Fez and Morocco overall

As mentioned in other reviews, Reibal (the owner) met us upon arrival and took time to explain the area, what to see, and the best way to move around the Medina to get the maximum from our stay. He is understandably proud of Fes and wants to ensure it is well presented. His explanations to guests were always delivered with genuine enthusiasm and passion. He would make a perfect Head of Tourism although we suspected he had worked extremely hard to create this oasis and was keen to stay totally available to guests to ensure every need was met. He was helpful in recommending tours and has a link with a very professional taxi service that had drivers that speak a number of languages allowing you to get the maximum from your day. We recommend the trip to Volubis and Meknes.

Reibal has a superb team of staff who were friendly and yet unobtrusive in delivering top quality service. We arrived with a smile and leff with an even bigger smile ! Bravo to the team.

Room Tip: We had one of the Ambassador suites named "Noor". Traditional in style and decorated in r...

I agree with everything said in the 5 star reviews about Andalib and the very helpful owner. The interiors are fantastic and the plastering by local artisans is reminiscent of the work at the top sights in the medina. As others have said, there's no need for a car and you're unlikely to need a taxi unless you want to go to the Ville Nouvelle. This place won't be an easy booking once it gets picked up by Lonely Planet and the other guidebooks.

We spent four nights here and dined there three times. Excellent food and great location just on the edge of the most fascinating medina so easy to find. A guide is essential if you want to get the most from your visit to the medina. A word of warning. Although we used a 'licensed guide' we did feel we were just being taken to the places that the guide was going to get a 'kick back'. Insist on agreeing what you want to see and do and agree the price and times before you start. Otherwise do not miss Fes - it is a great place to assimilate true Morocco.

Room Tip: ask the owner, he is very helpful

If i could honestly give Reibal the Proprietor, his amazing team and the Riad Andalib more than 5 stars i would.

We could not have happened on a better place from which to explore Fez and the surrounding areas.

So, here is why i think this place rocks.

The Riad is itself in the Medina, but one of a VERY few places accessible by car. This is really important when you arrive from the airport, are hot and have no idea where anything is. There is no walking and no hassle. Just step out of the taxi and you are in front of the door. Voila!

On entry, the Riad is itself beautiful, and took Riebal a full 6 years to complete! A lot of time, passion and care went into this place. You are met with tea, and a sit down from Reibal with a walk through tour of the area, key landmarks, map orientation, expectations for pricing etc (i pretty much felt like a local after our 30 minutes with Reibal). He really cares about you, and your stay, and wants you to be able to explore the Medina on your own without the need for guides. He openly states that this is your home whilst you are staying here.

The rooms are beautifully presented, with fantastic showers and bathrooms and more channels on the TV than you know what to do with.

Breakfast is a fantastic melange of local treats, from pancakes and honey to eggs and local breads. A great start to the day. Also, you can take breakfast whenever you like, there are no timings. So you can be super lazy and lie in, or get up early and explore. Its your call. We went for the lie in on most days. Reibal will also come round and speak with you personally at breakfast, just to make sure you are happy and if he can be of help for your day in any way.

We travelled high and low in Fez, we went to posh and not so posh places and honestly - THE FOOD IN RIAD ANDALIB IS THE BEST IN TOWN! And i mean it.

There is a lovely roof top terrace for dinner, lunch or simply lounging in the sun away from the hustle and bustle of the streets below.

I cannot fault anything at all, and i wish Reibal and his great team of amazing staff all the best, as they deserve it for being so friendly and helpful.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Junior Suite and it was absolutely beautiful.

This Riad is absolutely a jam. When you first arrive to the Riad, the owner (Reibal) takes plenty of time to sit with you (while you enjoy their famous tea) and give you a wonderful and detailed orientation of Fes which includes history, things to do and see, how to get around and many other great helpful & honest tips. All the staff at the Riad will do everything to make sure you will be happy, relaxed and comfortable...they treat you as part of their family true to the incredible Moroccan hospitality. The accommodation, location and food at the riad were outstanding as well. If you are looking for an incredible experience in Fes you should stay at this property.
