My friend and I stayed 5 nights in this very beautiful historic Riad in Fez. Everything there is pure delight from the breakfasts on the roof terrace to the wonderful candlelit evening meals around the tinkling fountain in the courtyard. The staff are exceptional and Miriam, the multi-lingual manager, was always at hand to help us with our sight-seeing plans and to give advice on practically anything. No need to worry if you prefer to speak English. Great location on edge of Medina, where there is plenty to see and explore. We also took trips out with a hired driver to visit Meknes and the wonderful Roman remains at Volubilis as well as exploring the lower Atlas towns. Everything was very reasonably priced and we returned with many treasured souvenirs and many more happy memories of the very friendly Moroccan people.
