If you go to Fes and choose Riad Layla, you will definitely not regret it. This beautifully decorated Riad is very well located, only a 10-15 mn walk from the heart of the Medina. In Riad Layla, we stayed in the Royal Suite with a mezzanine whose bed, sitting room and bathroom were absolutely spectacular. The staffwere very nice, and we also enjoyed having breakfast on the rooftop terrace overlooking the Atlas mountains and if you go there you must try the hammam which will be the best treat you can get in Fes !

Room Tip: If quietness is what you are looking for, ask the riad to book you a room which does not face the st...

This is a small but beautiful riad on the edge of the medina. Not too far into the medina, which means its fairly easy to find it.
The staff were very warm and welcoming, the rooms felt luxurious, and the meals were excellent.
The manager Yolanda was full of tales of Morocco and Fes and it was good to listen to her insight.
Only tiny thing is that it's a bit pricey- lunch is 15 euros, dinner is 20 euros, rooms start at 80 euros.
Overall I loved my stay here and would def recommend this hotel.

we spent 2 fantastic days in Fes at riad Layla, everything was perfect!
the staff is really welcoming and always available to help you with useful tips. the breakfast on roof terrace is breath taking (and the food very good). comfort is at very high level. the riad staff suggested us a guide to visit the old medina that we reccomend: it was very interesting, the best way to really understand this beautiful city!
hammam and massage strongly suggested!

We spent 2 night in the riad in the room Alia and Mezzanine. Both are extremely nice, spacious and well furnished. Even the common area of the riad are very well furnished and welcoming. The stuff is nice and very kind. Iolanda speaks many languages and she can organize any kind of trip, guided and not, in the city and around (we did half day guided tour of Fez and all day tour of Volubilis/Meknes, both very worth). We also had dinner at the riad and it was very good, if you book in advance you can eat in the middle of the yard (closed during the winter time) where it will be like having reserved all the riad for you with excellent food.

We stayed for 3 days in this Riad in Fez. We had a wonderful time. The staff was very friendly and Iolanda the manger was taking care of us in a wonderful way. The dinner in the Riad was excellent. We recommend to take a guided tour in Fez because the Medina is huge. All in all we can only recommend this Riad for a stay in Fez
