“Little but beautifully decorated riad”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 December 2012

This riad is conviniently located near one of two main streets of Fez medina. So, it is relatively easy to find. Inside is beautifully decorated with moroccan tiles. One of the staff was a young boy studying tourism. Despite the fact he is still developing his service skill, he was kind, cheerful, and earnest. Mint tea, breakfast, and oranges they served were delicious. Just be smart using the shower because the amout of hot water you can use is limited like any other places in Morocco.

Hello, you came by far to visit our beautiful country and you were very satisfied. It is the reward in our hotelkeeper's job. Thank you also and especially for your comments on the young boy who still studies at the school and the service of which so much satisfied you. His name is Saïd and I shall announce him it. It will encourage him and will infinitely please him. Long and happy life to You.

We went to Fes back in October but I felt compelled to write a review as I cannot praise the staff enough. They were very welcoming from when we first arrived and gave us alot of information about the city. The riad was like a tranquil safe haven from the craziness of Fes. The rooftop terrace has beautiful views of the city. The bed is on a mezzanine so the rooms are set over two floors making it spacious and almost homelike. It is also in a fantastic location.

Stayed a couple of days at this hotel during a tour in morocco with my girlfriend.caught up a nice 50% promotion on the Internet for this stay and it was a real bargain.what to say;value for money, very nice location (the easiest to find of the ones we stayed in the medinas across morocco),the owner jean-Claude and the staff very accommodating and helpful, the hotel itself was a jem in terms of morrocan architecture and the room was spacious with a bathroom up on a mezzanine, the room had a big airconditioning unit that worked perfectly, the terrace had lovely views of of the marinides tombs, the museum of arms and the medina.the only little drawback was the noise coming from the street (which might not apply to all five rooms) and as I previously read in other comments the mattress was indeed extremely hard.the drawbacks thought are nothing compared to the best altogether hotel we stayed in morocco.thanks jean-Claude

It is hard to fault Riad Adarissa on anything. The staff offer some of the best service I have ever seen and the location cannot get much better for exploring the Medina. The breakfasts are simple but very nice and the wifi is fast and has good range.

stayed at Adarissa for 3 days. The hotel is at an excellent location just 5 mins away from blue gate on one of the two main streets. the hotel and the terrace is beautiful and staffs are nice. We had an early train schedule on our last day and the staff just came in 6am to make us breakfast. Awesome service.
Our room is the Mohammed on the ground floor. it has a spacious bathroom, nice comfty bed on the second level. The best thing about it is that we have 2 TVs in our room (a luxury in Morocco). One in the sitting room and one on the bedroom level. The room is beautiful. Air conditing is working great! The one thing is that our room is a little tiny each floor (except for the bathroom); there is no room for our 2 luggage. We had to put them on the couch in the sitting area. The climbing stairs to the bedroom area is rather steep. If you have height or heels issues, this is not the room for you. They do have other rooms that is spacious and no split level floor.
Another issue we have is the entrance door frame. It is built lower than...an average door height (let's put it this way). My husband is 5'7-8" and he has to bow his head just a little bit to go in. Because of this reason, he has hit his head to that door frame for at least 4 times during the stay. Everytime we were going thro' that door, I had to remind him to watch out. So if you are about that height, watch your head.

Good service of the boys in this Riad and the dinner in this Riad is much more worth than the price, so tasty, so elegant! It is much better to stay in this Riad to eat dinner than to go outside to look for a restaurant in a busy, noisy and difficult Fez... The terras has a very nice view too. Bath room is very unique.

Our stay at the riad was great! The riad is wonderfully decorated and inviting. The location is great, close to one of the entrances of the medina and easy to find! In terms of rooms, please keep in mind, that in our room, the stairs were steep which was fine for us but may be a problem for older adults or adults who have some mobility problems. Said was fantastic, always around and always willing to help!! He made our stay perfect! Would gladly stay again!

A big thank you for your comments posted on TRIADVISOR.It is indeed important for potential customers to have your opinion on your stay. We have considered your point about the stairs a little stiff, making it more accessible. 'I was pleased to receive you and Said sending you his best memory.
