“Book online and its the best value hotel”

This place is perfect. If you book online via the ibid website, it is cheaper and well worth it. Clean, comfortable rooms with English tv channels and movies. Clean shower. Great location. What else can I say.

Firstly, the good - the hotel is conveniently situated right beside the train station, and the hotel itself seems to be quite new, with the well-manicured pool/garden area being the highlight. The rooms are of the typical Ibis standard - nothing special. But the simply unforgivable is the terrible customer service! The hotel agents were not very friendly or accommodating during the check-in process (quite snooty and condescending, to be honest - although not quite as horrible as the agent at the Ibis Casablanca). The worst was that when we contacted the hotel repeatedly about a jacket that we are positive we left in our room, they merely indifferently insisted they did not have it without really seeming to check the room. As Ibis/Accor is a supposedly a large, reputable international hotel group, this unprofessional, uncaring behavior towards their guests is very disappointing. For allowing their staff to more or less steal our left property without providing any sort of responsible follow-up or even compassion, the Ibis Fes (also Casablanca!) is strongly advised against.

We stayed here for 4 nights and were pleased with our stay. The hotel is located right next to the train station so getting to the hotel is very easy, especially if you arrive on a late flight. The hotel is a standard ibis hotel - so no frills but served its purpose. The bed was comfortable and we slept quite well. We did not eat there as there are cafes and restaurants close to the hotel. The medina is a short taxi ride from the hotel and isn't expensive at all. The hotel feels very safe as there is security on the door - a real plus!

Stayed here with my teenage son for two nights. My 2nd time at this hotel, primarily for its location adjacent to train station in Fes. Cost with breakfast for two was about $80/night. For only a few bucks more, we stayed in a magnicent ryad in Meknes. Generous breakfast buffet, free Internet, nice common areas inside and out, are the reasons to stay here. Rooms are small with a floor that was virtually slab covered with only a type of wallpaper. Shower drain did not work and water spilled onto to bathroom floor continously. If Fes is a primary destination for you, my suggestion is to find a riad in the medina.

clean but small room - didn't get a happy vibe from the staff although they always answered my questions politely. (men seemed very much in charge which is a shame because the women were 100% friendlier)

pool and garden area are nice

The medina is walkable from here but taxis are very cheap.

It was nice to get away from the noise of the medina actually.

They were renovating the 1st floor as we left and had we been staying on that would have annoyed me as our room was 2nd floor.

Internet wi-fi in lobby only.

This hotel would be really good if they could just find some reception staff that can smile a bit more.
