This is an amazing place. One in a million! You truly believe that you are inside a small palace of Aladdin or spending a night in a beautiful museum!. This place offers 6 suites and 2 rooms. Each suite is decorated like for a king and princess (or a Queen!). The wood work in the ceilings is just to die for!, the tile work in the walls and floors is just amazing.
you just dont know where to look because every time you turn your head, there is something beautiful to look at. You really feel like you are in a different world.
When you get to the parking lot of the place (few steps from the medina (the downtown), you have to walk thru this narrow hallways between the houses to get there. its like in an Indiana Jones movie. Suddenly you get to this huge door and when they opened the door, you say: WOW, what an amazing place. The owners and people that work there are extremely nice (and they speak english). the breakfast (included) is an amazing spread, from the coffee, to the juice to the breads. The view from the roof of the "palace" is breath taking. We loved it so much that we stayed an extra night. We were 3 couples and each one had a different suite. Let me tell you that the decoration was just amazing!. This is a place that we will never forget. The beauty, the service and the experience is like no other. I love that we were just steps away from the medina (the town surrounded by walls). you will transport yourself into the Aladdin world or the Indiana Jones movies. Plenty of restaurants to choose from. We felt very safe. it is a place to come back.
We stayed from Nov.27 to Nov. 29 2012. The hospitality will exceed anyones expectations. they even give you black soap to take a shower (like having your own spa treatment), once you finished, you feel 10 years younger. Thank you to the wonderful and amazing staff. I cannot stop writting about this place because this "palace" brings me great memories! "Leaving like a king and queen in the Aladding world". hope you get to go this amazing place.

This place is amazing. We had a wonderful experience in Morocco and this Riad was the foundation of it all. The meals were perfect. The staff were like family or friends. Everyone helped point us in the right direction, including hiring guides

This riad is by far top our list of ALL Riads we stayed in this country! It is like a mini palace the moment you walk in! and moreover, they treat you like king and queen....!!!
The place is nothing short of stunning and the service by the stuff, Fatima and the owners Caroline and Pierre is great!
The location is great, close by to a parking lot inside the Madina, so getting to the Riad is fairly simple! Walking into the maze of the Madina is easy as well. The room we stayed in is the biggest room in the riad and was just unbelievable beautiful! We wish we stayed longer than our two nights!!! Breakfast was great too with a lookout through the huge windows facade over the entire Madina of Fez! This is what you will see from the rooftop as well where you could relax and sun tan in the summer months... We did eat one evening the creation of Fatima which was excellent and very nicely served. Caroline and Pierre Marie the owners were very helpful as well in guiding us for Fez as well as with some recommendations for other places we visited in Morocco!
This place is NOT to be missed. We cannot forget it, and wish to go back!

Room Tip: If you are a party of 3...ask for the biggest room of the Riad! Amazing!

Between November 27th - November 29th we stayed at this hotel with two other couples. It was an excelent location. My brother found this hotel at this website and as soon as we walked in, we felt welcome. The staff is amazing, Fatima, Fatida, Khalid and the owners made us feel comfortable and the hospitality exceeded our expectations. The suite we had was the Nejjarine suite and it was clean, comfortable beds. Nice bathtub, with black soap to enjoy it a "hamman". The breakfast in the morning is fresh, the coffee and mint tea was superb. Highly recommend this hotel.

A fantastic room in a super riad. Located close to all the sights of Fes. Breakfast in garden was lovely - a great way to start the day. Evening meals - whilst having a limited choice - were also well prepared and beautifully served and good value if you don't fancy getting out into the Medina.

Room Tip: First floor preferable but all rooms are good.

Of course the riad, food, gardens and location were all great but the amazing service by the great staff is what really topped it all and is what will bring us back to Ryad Mabrouka! Hadid, Fatima and Atika were so welcoming and hospitable and they were always so warm and friendly - and it was genuine, not just part of their job. They always wore a smile and delivered with kindness. Our room was beautiful too and the location was great, right in the medina, but the service was the BEST! When we left, I missed Fes but more than anything, it was the great staff here I missed the most. When we go back to Fes, we will stay here if the staff hasn't changed.

We were 2 Aussie families with 11 in the group, including 6 kids. Easily accessible - just outside the medina with parking close by. Very nice hosts who gave us really helpful information. The food was delicious, rooms beautifully decorated & the pool a saviour for our kids in the hot weather in July! Only a few minutes walk from the medina. The staff were great, especially Fatima - and we all loved Minette, the friendly cat!! We would highly recommend this lovely riad to anyone travelling to this fascinating city.
