We enjoyed a traditional banquet here in this old palace. Seated on cushioned benches with a low table in an upstairs room was a great way to enjoy a long lunch. There were a few locals on the table near us which was a good sign. Quite a contrast to the room below filled with large tour groups. We ordered the banquet for 90dh plus drinks through our guide which was great value (usually 120dh per person). The range of mixed salads to start the meal were delicious. There was a bit of confusion with our drink orders, otherwise the service was helpful and attentive. It can be a bit difficult to find so keep an eye out for it east of Sidi Ahmed Tijani Mosque in Fes el Bali.
