Very nice to see this ancient and authentic way of treating and colouring the leather in Fes. You can miss it if you walk through the numerous alleys as everyone is trying to take you there. The annoying part is people are some time too pushy, no matter you get there by yourself someone will still try to take you though the leather shop, someone will give you some mint to help for the strong smell (which is not very bad from where you will stand), if you're lucky as we were you could observe peacefully and be able to take some nice pictures of the people working , stepping on the animal skin, leather and then make them dry under the strong sunshine. On your way out you will be followed and expected to give a tips to the person who gave you the mint. It is worth visiting and don't be obliged to buy anything if you don't want as nobody asked us to do so.
