“Stunning Riad with fantastic service!”
Reviewed 1 March 2010

Riad Laaroussa was our great introduction to Fès - what a fantastic and warm welcome! The owners have done a wonderful job in renovating the Riad and making it an especially peacefully and quiet „space“ in which we relaxed and rejuvenated after trips.
The staff and owners are very welcoming and warm, offering great tips for excursions and are willing to make your wish possible.
The Riad and the private rooms are spacious offering enough space for us to feel very comfortable and to have privacy.
The Riad has a terrace (breakfast and dinner served when not raining) with a wonderful view of the Medina.
The on-site Hammam and massage options offer additional ways to relax and take a “time-out”.
We really enjoyed the four night and highly recommend the Riad.

Riad Laaroussa
We stayed in Fez for three days in October 09, but could have made it a month. Fez was the nicest city we stayed in during our stay in Morocco, as it has a myjestical beauty and plenty of interesting things to do and see in the medina.
We were lucky enough to find Riad Laaroussa by chance while looking for accomodation, hidden right in the central part of the medina its location is perfect. Behind large entrance doors hides a beautiful riad that makes your stay in Morocco extra special.
The building has been restored with attention to detail as all rooms are elegant and spacious. We stayed in the Red room which we thoroughly enjoyed.
The staff were fantastic, takings us shopping in the markets for food in the morning and then showing us how to prepare authentic Moroccan meals.
The meals at the restaraunt and the breakfast were all excellent quality, with all of the staff making you feel very relaxed and at home.
I could not speak more highly of this Riad with its beautiful design and such helpful and caring staff. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a special break in Morocco.
Thankyou Bryden and Emma

We had a wonderful stay at riad Laaroussa. It's located right in the middle of the old Medina that was approximately 10 minutes walk from the Blue Gate. All staff is lovely and very helpful. They always treated us like family .

The room ( Blue) was very cute and romantic. We could enjoy the room with relaxing, isolated from noises of the medina. They also have a beautiful traditional garden with orange tree and a small fountain.

We had delicious breakfast , fresh fruit, orange juice and Moroccan crepes , on the roof deck with great view over the medina.

You should enjoy traditional Hamman and massage in the riad . It was really nice.

This hotel is almost perfect. I recommend it highly.

A wonderful experience! Riad Laaroussa is a treasure, great from an aesthetical point of view and – which is perhaps more important – for the kindness and the high professionalism of all the staff. An oasis of comfort and beauty in the middle of Fez medina. I hope to come back soon.

I stayed at the Riad Laroussa with my wife, parents and sister for a few nights, including New Year's Eve. It was an excellent choice as a place to welcome a new decade! The atmosphere was truly joyful, as there was live Moroccan music, and dinner that night was sumptuous and delicious. Clearly, the whole staff put a great deal of effort into providing us with future happy memories. As others have pointed out, the house, with its many spacious rooms, terrace and beautiful courtyard was lovingly restored by its owner Frederique and the result is a real treat to its visitors. Altogether, our stay was quite magical and we recommend Riad Laroussa as a romantic, exotic place to visit.

I stayed at this Riad with my parents on a weekend trip from BCN. It was such a wonderful place to unwind after a busy day of getting lost in the Medina. The staff is stellar and the atmosphere peaceful. It is certainly a trustworthy spot with great food and kind staff. Shukran!
