We enjoyed 2 nights in this lovely Riad. We were graciously upgraded to a Junior Suite. Generous breakfasts with fresh fruit and pastries as well as delicious dinner.

The reception staff were very welcoming and friendly, always available to help. We had a wonderful chat with the Manager, Kriselda. She made us feel at home at ease, walking into a labyrinth can be quite intimidating.

We definitely will recommend this Riad to anyone going to Fez !

We had a wonderful room and the staff was great. Highly recommended. The only limitation is wifi not reaching our room, although it worked in the gorgeous commons area. Don't be concerned about what you see on the outside, which could make you wonder why people love staying here. It is all on the inside.

We dont usually write reviews about our travel lodging, but i do believe that Riad El Yacout deserves credit and recognition for the excellent service that we received during our recent stay there. The welcoming by the lovely manager, Kris or Krissy as i called her was overwhelming and much needed after a long day. A warm smile and genuine concern about our day. We were given lovely mint tea, delicious cookies, freshly baked i assumed as they were still warm. All this was in their grand hall, which had a wonderful view of their sparkling pool.

We felt at home immediately. We were then taken to a lovely suite on the first floor of the main house. It was earthy and charming, with touches of tradition and old Moroccan themes. The suite was clean and spacious and the bathroom was absolutely heavenly to relax after our first day of exploring in the Fez Medina.

Kris provided various options for their dinner menus and also gave us much needed information on what to see and where to go for our stay in Fez, she also very kindly arranged for us to go on excursions. Although quite honestly we preferred to stay in the riad. Her efficiency in getting details and results was equally impressing as her hands on approach to making sure that things run smoothly with her team and the guests.

Riad El Yacout is a perfect home away from home. Its the only way that makes sense to describe our experience in this lovely Riad.

This riad was included as part of our accommodation on our 10 day tour with our tour Company (Highlights of Morocco ) This was one of the highlights of our trip and certainly by far the best Riad we stayed at, and we stayed at quite a number. The architecture was beautiful and the decor and some of the furnishings were exquisite. We were very impressed with all the staff who were, without exception, warm, helpful and very accommodating, friendly and extremely helpful. The food excellent.

I would highly recommend a visit to this wonderful Riad. We will definitely return thanks to our Tour Company!!

Staying at the Riad Yacout is a truly memorable experience. Built hundreds of years ago, it is a stunning building with marble pillars, beautiful mosaic walls, and a lovely fountain in the main courtyard. It reflects Moroccan tradition, culture, and decor. Located a five minute walk from the famous Blue Gate, it is an ideal location for those visiting the ancient Fez medina (market). The rooms are spacious and have all the amenities you could desire. Wi-Fi is available in the main courtyard. A delicious Moroccan breakfast is included in the price. The Riad's restaurant serves traditional Moroccan dishes, cooked with fresh ingredients purchased daily. The hotel staff are eager to do whatever they can to make your stay enjoyable. The general managers, a lovely Indian from South Africa, is the most gracious hotel manager I have ever met. Riad Yaacout was the nicest hotel we stayed in during a wonderful trip through Morocco.
