over the roofs... sometimes with music. international people. if you are looking for the real Fez ...it's not here. you can find good food, cocktails, wifi... not at Fez normal prices, but it is comfortable so...decide by yourself. i went once and was happy. not easy to find, very small street of course.

There are some harsh reviews on this site which I don't understand. The menu is handed to you as soon as you enter Cafe Clock and before you sit down. If the menu doesn't offer what you want I don't understand why people continue to a table and then criticise the menu.

Anyway, this place is an oasis. It does not offer a traditional menu but has a fusion of different food and the standard is seriously high. They were the best falafels I have ever eaten. We had loads of dishes as we couldn't make up our minds what we wanted. To be slightly critical the desert we wanted had finished...we don't know of anywhere else that offered a crumble in Fez and were very disappointed. But, as we live in Morocco we fully understand the difficulty of getting a regular supply of ingredients. Its not always possible to rustle up a few more as most of the fruit and veg in Morocco is sourced locally and is seasonal (this is one of the joys of Moroccan food...its fresh and seasonal) so consequently the fruit and veg souk only stocks what it stocks. So we understood.

The staff were great. This is English owned so the language of the restaurant is English and this made it very easy. Again, those wanting traditional be aware...this is not traditional.

We hear a branch is opening in Marrakech. It wont be soon enough.

Well done to everyone. We had a great time.

Excellent houmous. Great lemonade. Great service. The interior felt like a student hang out. Not exactly what we were looking for.

Interesting cafe with good food. I liked the fez hats on the wall around the clock. I had their mixed appetizers, eggplant and cheese quiche and sweet almond milk. All really good. I was only sorry that I was only able to eat there once!

This became our favorite restaurant in Fez very quickly. I will be writing a longer review at another time, with pictures. We bought the cookbook and we can't WAIT to try the recipes!
