We stayed for 3 nights at Riad Idra. It is very close to the Main Square and the Souks and very convenient to explore the city. Dar El Bacha, the street on which the lane leading to the Riad is located, is closed to cars and larger traffic and hence the Riad is very quiet though it is quite centrally located. The Riad has 7 rooms all very tastefully finished and furnished. The central courtyard with a water feature and plants makes the whole place much cooler even when it is quite warm outside. The rooms have tall ceilings, large bathrooms, built-in closets and locker.
People working at the Riad were very very friendly and helpful, often going out of their way to ensure we are satisfied. Breakfasts (were included with our room reservation) were quite elaborate, everything was baked in-house and tasty - it is a big meal by itself. We also had couple of dinners at the Riad which were also very tasty. Karine, the manager was great. Omar, the main person in charge of food service was excellent. When we told him that we liked Moroccan cookies, he bought a variety of them from a store near his house which is supposed to be very good - considering that he is at the Riad at 7 AM to serve breakfast and leaves at around 10:30 PM after serving dinner, he really went out of the way to make sure we got what we wanted.
We also enjoyed Hammam and the Massage on the last day of our stay.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience and would highly recommend it.
