“Friendly, relaxing”

We were traveling with one teenager and a 9 year old, so did not know if Marrakech would suit them. But after traveling to Spain, and Italy and Morocco, guess what - it was Marrakech they liked the best!! The staff at Riad Blue is friendly, personable and very helpful. Mohammed, Ismael and Paolo make sure all questions are answered and you get what you need. The hotel is close to the old Medina, and a short walking distance to all the major tourist hot spots. The rooms itself was large, each kid had their own bed, moreover the decor is exquisite. We are very glad we made this choice!

I took my wife and two teenage children for a 3 day break to Marrakesh. I am in my late forties and have travelled the world on many business trips. After three days I genuinely wanted to tell my friends and recommend Riad 58 Blu to my reletaives. From first impressions the Riad was fantastic - a definite wow! Clean, colourful and yet tranquil. Situated in a less touristy part of the city, the Riad was in fact ideally situated for us. Mohammed, Paolo and Smile looked after us from start to finish, helping us orgainse each days events. Nothing was too much trouble. Mohammed arranged the best tables at recommended restaraunts. and arranged for an English speaking driver 'Yoness' to take us for a day out in the Atlas Mountains. Overall 10 out of 10.

I won't write a long review because it would just be repeating what the last few have already said - ie lovely fresh simple breakfast, easy walk to the main square etc etc. What was special was that we felt like we were sharing a little home in Marrakesh and staying with friends. We were so looked after by the staff here, they took care of every detail and wanted to do so much for us. Thank you to Smiley for making all the mint tea, and to Mohammed for all his attention and arranging our visits. We already miss you!

From start to finish, this riad is perfect! From the quick responses during booking, to the incredibly peaceful and beautifully decorated riad, to the fabulous staff, this definitely was a highlight of our trip.

We arrived via the arranged taxi service and were greeted at the riad by Smiley, who prepared a mint tea and traditional Moroccan treats. Located just 10 minutes by foot from the medina, the manager Mohamed showed us the way and helped us get our bearings. He also reassured us that we could call him and he would come get us if we got lost. (We made it back without getting lost. No small feat for two directionally-challenged girls!)

We stayed in the Emerald Suite, which was roomy and just beautiful. The room had a TV, satellite, wi-fi access, safe, fridge, hairdryer, big towels, ... The decorations were traditional Moroccan, which gave the room a nice, warm feeling.

The breakfast was so good! The yogurt and orange juice were fabulous. The also served eggs and offered many different bread choices.

Mohamed set up a tour for us, and it was great...There is no way we could have found all the sights on our own!

I cannot say enough good things about all the staff. They genuinely care about taking care of guests and they treated us like family. Thanks for all the help and good conversations...Thanks Mohamed, Paolo, and Smiley for an unforgettable stay!

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at Riad 58 Blu - Wow! We had an absolutely fantastic time, one of our best holidays yet.

The Riad is perfectly located just a short walk away from the main square and yet it is so peaceful and tranquil inside. Our room was spacious and traditionally Morrocan. There is no need to lock your room as the Riad is very secure and there was always someone there to let you in and help you with anything your heart desires! We felt very safe and at home. The rooms are spotless, cleaned everyday and fresh towels provided.

We enjoyed a lovely breakfast every day of fresh orange, yogurt, pancakes, fresh bread, cakes and coffee/tea on the lovely rooftop terrace.

The main reason we enjoyed our stay so much was due to Paolo, Mohamade and Smile. They made us feel as though we staying with family. Mohamade was so kind and helpful. He organised an intinerary for us which we really enjoyed. Smile was very friendly and escorted us to the restaurant on our first night. We had a guide the first morning to visit the Palace and shops. The second day we had a trip to Atlas mountains and then were taken into the new town for our evening meal. Our last day included a camel ride and a relaxing Hammas and massage, perfect!

We can't recommend this Riad enough, we had a fantastic experience and are already planning our next visit!

We just got back from a 7 night stay in Riad Blu 58. The Riad itself is absolutely beautiful – a proper taste of a traditional Moroccan Riad. It really was a haven of peace and tranquillity away from the mayhem of the streets outside. The location is perfect – a stone’s throw away from all the buzz of Marrakech and the main square (Jemaa el Fna).

You don’t get a key to the Riad – instead someone is always there to let you in and greet you with a smile at any time of day or night. We felt really safe with this arrangement and because we knew that Smiley had his beady eye on everything that was going on, we felt comfortable leaving the door to our room wide open.

Mohammed and Smiley were so friendly and helpful. Mohammed is more than happy to recommend things for you to do and to book trips, tour guides, restaurants, taxis etc. It’s also really good that there is free internet access at the Riad and you can use their computers there.

The rooms were cleaned and tidied, with the towels changed every day. The whole of the Riad was kept beautifully clean and tidy by the girls, who also served us a lovely breakfast of yogurt, pancakes, bread, jams, fresh orange and coffee every day.

We felt really at home and at ease at the Riad and this was mostly due to the welcoming natures of both Mohammed and Smiley. You really don’t have to have any worries while staying at the Riad as Mohammed and Smiley will help you out and give you advice on anything you want to do/learn about Morocco. We had such a relaxing time at the Riad and wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Marrakech.

I just got back from the best stay at Riad 58 Blu. The staff were amazingly nice and super helpful, and the place was beautiful. There are only 5 rooms, so it has a very familial feel. The location is perfect, inside the medina, and about a 5 minute walk from everything you need to see in Marrakesh's old city. There is also free wi-fi here which makes for easy communication to wherever home is.
Paolo and Muhammed and the staff were gratious hosts, and helped us find our way through the medina, and even came to meet us if we were lost. They recommended restauratns, arranged for taxis if need be, picked us up and dropped us off at the airport and provided maps for walknig around. It was really a wonderful stay, and I wouldnt stay anywhere else if I went back to Marrakesh. I highly recommend Riad 58 Blu!
