“Very friendly staff but maybe not the right clients”
Reviewed 20 December 2009

I wouldn't have stayed here if it wasnt for an easy jet cancellation flight. The staff is very friendly, amazing friendly, the food is amazing.

It is too over-priced after knowing how much is a bottle of water in the Square. This is only for posh people. I felt uncomfortable here because the people who were staying were extremely posh and the majority rude to the staff. This hotel is for those who do not want to go to the the medina and would like to stay in hotel to relax, go to the spa and hang around the pool. Would be good for a city-break.

Rooms very clean.

You wont find alcohol because it is forbidden in Morocco to drink and many Middle-Eastern come to this hotel for vacation, the majority being Muslim. So, it would be very pointless for them to serve alcohol. If you would like alcohol, you can go to Gueliz, to the supermarket and find some there to take back to the hotel

This hotel is a beautiful place to stay. Bedroom, pool, spa sauna, breakfast, snacks on the terrace by the pool GREAT. There is a couple of things which did slightly let the hotel down. No alcohol, no evening entertainment, sited out of town.
After saying that you can drink alcohol on your balcony, taxi 30 dh and entertainment at near by hotels or in the city.
PS, spent 11 days at this hotel.

Hotel was very nice , clean and spacious.... staff are very friendly..... the time we went was bit quiet not much residents but the day we left they all came in....... the hotel is alcohol free but its ok to drink in your room as lomng as its in the room and better to dispose the bottles or cans yourself........ also its a bit out of town if anyone is wondering but not far to walk to jammea al finna... its about 35 minits walk.... i realy loved the hotel and enjoyed it..... rooms are big , nice king size bed and comfy pillows..... sheets changed everyday.......i say its a hotel for someone who seeks peace and quiet....must say the hotel dose good excursions...... i would go back my self again.......a tip regarding the taxis...... its best if you walk to the top of the road to catch a taxi if goin to town ...wen you get out of hotel just keep walking up the road on your right hand side not the left side.... and when you want to get a taxi back to hotel just say SHAREE SISI OMARA and you can walk up to hotel because if u say ryad magador kashabh they want to charge you an arm and leg......by the way..... there is this new law out now regarding the taxi drivers if you get in taxi and he dosent put on the meter just get out or say you will take him to police sation.......the fare should not come to 14 dirhams.....from town to hotel or 10 dirhams from town to top of road........the hotel is wi fi so u can take your laptop ...... all together i had great time in hotel...... hope you enjoy your stay as well.......

The hotel itself is excellent. The swimming pool, the hammam and sauna where good. The breakfast is fantastic. The only downside is that RM Kasbah is outside the town centres and it's hard to find a taxi at night. The staff are very friendly and there manners excellent.

Satyed here for a couple of days during the WTCC Race of Morroco. The hotel itself is in the new "Zone Touristique". Rooms are adequate size and pool is big and not too busy. The service in the hotel was very poor. Staff on reception couldn't find people's room bookings and ended up giving wrong rooms to people who were staying for different lengths. Towel service around the pool was very spordaic and also getting hold of a parasol proved quite challenging. Hotel restaurant food was okay and reasonably priced for what you got.

This hotel belongs to what I believe is a chain of hotels in Morocco called 'Ryad Mogador'. The room I stayed in was nice and clean, although the bathtub seemed to be incomplete and had cement where the soap holder should have been! The rest of the hotel was big, it has a lounge and restaurant.

The worst thing about the hotel though was its location, which seemed to be in the middle of nowhere. From the walls of the old city it was about a 20 minute walk, and then a further 10 minutes to walk to the Djemaa el Fna, the main square of Marrakech. The hotel did have a shuttle bus every day to take people to and from the main city centre, but this came only every two hours from 9am-5pm, and you had to arrange with the driver where and when he'd pick you up later. That meant spending more money on taxis to go to and from the old city in the evening to eat and just do things there. Also, if you choose to eat in the hotel then the food is expensive, it's better to eat every night at the BBQ stalls in the Djemaa el Fna for 5 quid a head! So the hotel would have been better had the location been better, I think they're trying to build a tourist village in that area which is why you'll also see a lot of building work going on there, that was certainly the case with our bedroom which looked out onto a building site across the road. If you do want to stay in Marrakech then try getting a hotel that is within the main city itself or at least within a good walking distance of the Djemaa el Fna.

We found the Ryad Mogador Kasbah a wonderful hotel! We had traveled around several morroccan cities and this was by far the most elegant hotel we stayed in. We loved the cleanliness in all of the hotel areas, the variety of foods offered at both the breakfast and dinner were amazing ( eggs and pancakes made to order, several tangine selections, plenty of oranges and clementines... We found the staff very friendly and courteous. The one drawback was the distance from the medena but we were traveling with a small group and had our own bus so it was not an issue. The hotel rooms were spacious and the dining room had music every night. The gathering areas of the hotel were also spacious and elegant. It was in the 70's when we were there and we ate on the patio overlooking the pool.....what a treat in February!
