We visited this establishment in early May 2014 when it was over 100 degrees outside. We only wanted a cold drink but we were told we could not stay unless we bought food. We explained we only wanted a drink however, that clearly wasn't an option. The place wasn't full so obviously our money was no good in their restaurant so we left.

As an aside I saw what other people had ordered and I am thankful we didn't order anything as it looked positively vile.

We went to a lovely little cafe across the way who were much more welcoming and friendly.

the worst meal i had in Marrakesh, the place is not clean enough and the food is average and pretty pricey.

Great food, honest people, lovely to look out over the square. We would definitely go back as it felt very comfortable.

On the main square is this gem ! We started with mixed olives and flat bread , yummy. I had a tagine of kofta , tomatoes and egg which was still bubbling away when served ! It was delicious .
Three tagines, two plates of olives, bread and a large bottle of water came to 165 dinar plus a great view of local life !

The view is spectacular at sunset but the food is overpriced and not authentic. Go somewhere a bit off the main place for truly delicious Moroccan cuisine.
