Ok, The reviews are all over the place and I think that's an accurate description. It's pretty "touristy" and "cheezy". Attempts to give you a look at the Berber culture from years ago.
You enter and pass through a "fake" town that is lined with singers and dancers. They will reappear at your table during dinner and try to get you to give them more money....
The dinner is a group effort and we went with a group of 35 and sat around tables of 6 to 8. The food was a 1/2 lamb sort of set in the middle of the table and you all get what you want. Next is couscous (spelling?). It is a Berber tradition and actually pretty good. After dinner you go to an arena and watch a horse/entertainers sort of act for about 45 minutes. It's ok but it is so dark and the lighting is bad that you can't really tell what is going on. The narration is not too well done. I think they have a great idea with the show but need a more profession group of directors to really make it work for the audience. We went as a package deal and it was ok. If on your own I wouldn't spend the time or money while in Marrakech.
