Riad Elizabeth is run by British couple Elizabeth and John Gilbey along with some very special local staff. Rarely have we experienced such warm and genuine hospitality. Nothing was too much trouble - from arranging airport transfers, a tday trip to the Atlas mountains, a meal on arrival, taxis and restaurant suggestions/bookings. The situation in the north Medina is ideal, a short walk through the souks to the Jemma al Fna main square. The riad itself is a calm oasis, stylishing decorated with every modern comfort whilst retaining the essence of an original Morrocan home. A different freshly prepared breakfast every morning served on the top floor terrace was a joy. We have no hesitation recommending the Riad Elizabeth - 5 stars in anyone's book. (Jill and Ron Jones)
