My wife and I have just returned from an 8 night stay at Riad Assakina. After reading all the reviews we had pretty high expectations and we were not disappointed. We stayed in the Almohad Suite which was a large room with sitting area and an ensuite bathroom. The room was beautifully decorated, as was the whole Riad. The service during our stay was excellent and the staff were wonderful with no request being to much. Overall it was an excellent residence for our stay in Marrakech.
The local knowledge of both Grant and Michelle. (This really made our trip)
The stunning decor of the Riad
The wonderful staff
The extremely large breakfast
Tea/wine on the terrace
No facilities within your room to make tea or coffee. (I was aware of this before I arrived, but as an early riser who needs at least three cups of tea before I am able to communicate, it was missed).
