My Husband and I stayed at this riad in April of this year. I had read many good reviews about this hotel which made my decision to book for a four night stay.
The decoration was traditional and quite elegant however the place was very quiet and lacked any atmosphere. We almost felt like we had to creep around and not make any noise. The staff were not always present when needed although were very polite.
Our room was quite large with an en suite, Hot water was a bit erratic in the mornings though overall was comfortable.
Breakfast was disappointing, It was very basic and consisted of mainly bread and pastries, Orange juice ( which was good) and coffee which was not of a good quality.
The Hotel is a bit far out of town for my liking and I guess I should have made more enquiries as to the exact location. Using taxis to and from was expensive and a hassle as the majority of the taxis we used hiked their prices with a different price each time.
Overall, we found this hotel a little expensive for what it had to offer and indeed for its out of town location. I have since seen on tripadvisor less expensive hotels in a more central location reducing the need for troublesome taxis.More
