Stayed here with friends from 12th June 2014 for one week, wish I'd booked at least 10 days. Immaculate hotel with some of the most professional/helpful/lovely staff I've come across.
All hotel areas are spotless including the rooms. Loved the bar with the relaxed atmosphere and sofas, the wifi in there was pretty good too!
Food was varied and I enjoyed each mealtime, paninis at lunchtime were great!
Pool is just as good as it looks, there are ledges all the way around so you can sit and read in the pool without being too deep, lots of people did this as the heat was in the mid 30s!
Only let down to this hotel is the evening entertainment, very poor, worst I've seen in a platinum hotel but as I do not pick a hotel based on the entertainment at all, this didn't really effect my holiday. For the best evening entertainment- book 'A Night in a Riad' with Thomson/First Choice, superb!
Or get out in Marrakech itself, definitely not to be missed. We went into the city on the free hotel shuttle at around 4pm, shopped and saw the sights, then we sat in a bar with a balcony and watched the square transform into a huge 'pop up' restaurant. We chose to eat at one of the many stalls and it was delicious, so don't be nervous of eating out here.
All in all, choose this hotel and I'm pretty sure you'll have a fantastic time in this great hotel and great city!

Lovely hotel with excellent food. Rooms were set amongst the gardens, which was quite a walk to the main part of the hotel for some, but we were fine as we were near to the pool. Room 5002. Air conditioning in the room was not particularly efficient, but ok. The reception on the various wi-fi's was a bit hit and miss, but the staff were all very good. The place was very clean and I would recommend it.

Room Tip: This seems to be a matter of opinion, but I would like the room I was in - 5002 - as it was ground f...

We were a group of 16 guys on a golfing holiday and golf was our main preoccupation. This hotel was very much as I expected and it did not disappoint at all.
The most important feature was the attitude of the staff which was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble.
The food was of a relatively high quality available in abundance.
The rooms were clean and comfortable but we did not spend much time in the room as we were busy elsewhere.
The wifi is available in several locations but it is a bit flaky when too many people are online.
If you are a sun worshipper please be aware that if you want a well located sun bed you will have to get up very early to claim your place with the towel and books in the traditional German way.
It didn't bother us because we played golf in the morning but at 7am when we took our breakfast the prime places had all been snapped up, but very few people around.

Myself and my husband stayed here the 9th June for a week.
We arrived late in the evening and we're greeted at the entrance with a cocktail. The restaurant was kept open for anyone who wanted to eat.
Check in was really quick and the reception staff were really helpful.
Our room was of a good size. It was cleaned on a daily basis and was always nice and cool. We were given 2 bottles of water each day in the room.
The food was really good, with a large variety each day. The breakfast offering was fruit, pastries, cereals and cooked items. Lunch and dinner were also buffets that ranged from salad to lamb tagine. Look out for the chocolate mousse in the desert section- it's very good! I'm a fussy eater but I had no trouble finding things to eat each day.
There are two themed restaurants- Moroccan and Italian. Whilst they were both nice, the food was quite similar to the main restaurant. We were booked into the Italian on Sunday night and the main restaurant did an Italian evening on the night before. The food available was very similar in both restaurants.
The pool area was really nice with parasols for those who wanted shade. The pool is cold but in the heat, it's ideal. One of the only downsides was that you needed to be up early to get a sun lounger. I ended up having to set an alarm for 7.30 each day to ensure we had loungers.
The entertainment wasn't the best I've seen. The team do put a lot of effort in but it doesn't match the quality of the other services provided in the hotel.
There is a small gym which has the basics of what you would need to workout on holiday. It's fully air conditioned with water and towels available. There is also an indoor pool, which was very cold!!
All of the staff were really polite and friendly.

Just a few tips - you can get money at the hotel using the ATM. You will need to change any you have left at the airport before flying home as they don't allow you to take it out of the country.
The hotel shop isn't open on a Sunday.
The hotel is busier than we expected. There was always a lot of people.

Overall, We would go back to this hotel. The weather was perfect and we had a nice relaxing holiday. Very good value for money.

Absolutely perfect. Brilliant standard of food. As usual with this chain the standard of hotel was exceptional. Delighted with the value for money and quality of hotel. Entertainment was iffy, but that's part of the fun!

My wife & I had a great 2 weeks, well first week was great not so busy, however half way through the second week the Hotel was at capacity, some rude folk & they were English!
The food was fine plenty of choice, my only gripe no garlic, i missed it lol
The reception is great pre booked taxi so didn't have the hassle in check in
The room was great away from the noise at night ask for block 16 ask room 2110 great views of the pool
The animation team is local a and limited, but we made our own entertainment by mixing with other guests, made some great friendships which we are all meeting up next month
Had some wonderful trips into town got taxi back cheap only a tenner, last shuttle bus is at 8 pm back to the hotel

My family stayed here 12th June 2014 for 1 week.

Overall a good hotel. stayed All-Inclusive through FirstChoice/Thompson.

Rooms:
Pros - Clean, tidy, large and comfortable, good powerful shower and hair dryer provided (plus for the women) And a smart TV, beds a little hard.

Cons - Fridge didn't work so couldn't keep bottles cold, told hotel but never fixed.

Food:
Pros - dedicated Italian and Moroccan restaurants (didn't try them, should have!) Buffet style restaurant well decorated and made for good ambience. Food was varied on a daily basis with fresh cook stations, varied selection of meals/salads/puddings.

Cons - I personally found the food very bland and tasteless, disappointing for what I was expecting from Moroccan food and spices. Fried egg whites never cooked through, same for boiled eggs, limited selection for vegetarians.

Pool area:
Pros - Large Olympic sized pool, plus indoor pool, 2 pool bars, lots of canvassed covered ares for the shade, plenty of wooden parasols and beds along with cushions, daily fresh pool towels, plenty of entertainment in and out of pool.

Cons - if you want a sunbed or canvas covered bed area you have to get up early, I was up at 7am every day and 50% of the ares were already taken/towelled(reserved), it's every man for themselves at the pool bars, I found the barmen to be a little unfriendly, lots of wasps/bees around drink dispensers, hotel need to address this as bar staff were serving drinks after bees has been drowned in the drink, they tipped bees out but didn't change glasses or drink, we found the poolside entertainment a little pointless/amateur.

Hotel main complex/bars:
Pros - a very nice main bar, great ambience, large entertainment room, hotel shop, reception desk where you can change your currency, loads of internal seating areas where you can cool down and relax.

Cons - hotel doesn't change currency back when leaving, bar staff selectively friendly, seemed to be very friendly towards French speaking, I guess it is one of their languages.

WiFi:
Pros - Very good speed, good coverage through main reception bar area.

Cons - You have to get on early in day, as at night it get over utilised.

Getting out and about:
Free coach into the main square daily leaving hourly (you have to book in advance)
Taxi into and return from main square is around 150 dirhams(£12), agree price in advance with driver, well with it!

Whilst you're there visit:
Cascade of Ouzoud a spectacular 100m waterfall in the Atlas Mountains
