So my friend had pervously stayed at bab and loved it, so we decided to stay here based on her recommendation, however we was disappointed.
Upon arrival which was about 11pm we was greated by a very sore faced receptionist with barely a welcome to bab hotel! We were asked for our passports, given our room key and sent on our way within literally 2 mins....without being providing with any basic information i.e when breakfast is served or the check out time.
We stayed in room 107 on the 1st floor which was a delux room, large king size bed, lovely decor, smart tv, ac, bath and shower, balcony however I would have to agree with the other reviews that the rooms are very poorly lite and a lot of road noise but we always out late so that didnt bother us. And being on the 1st floor you can clearly hear the music from the bar...so if you do choose to stay here and have sensitive ears ask for a higher floor.
Breakfast...was very basic for a 5 star hotel with the staff hanging around and chit chatting. With myself being Moroccan I understood everything they was saying and it was not very professional to gossip, laugh and play fight in front of guests.
The pool....the pool is located right by reception and the bar and is covered by a massive wall, so it doesn't get any sun in the day and is very over looked none of the guests used it.
The sky bar was never open the whole week we stayed. However you can use it during the day to tan.
Staff...the reception and management have the worst customer service I have ever come across...I've recived better service at a 2 star hotel. We asked for an iron 3 times....we're still waiting for it!! However the door men, bell boys and house keeping are lovely and if it wasn't for their amazing smiles and kindness I think we would have checked into another hotel.
The only good thing I could say about this hotel is the location and the look. Lots of places to eat and visit within walking distance. For the price and service recived I wouldn't stay here again.
