Four girlfriends in Marrakesh for 4 days. What an amazing city !! Be prepared for the hustle and bustle !! Riad Zayane Atlas is in a great location - just 8-10mins walk from Jamma el Fna square. The staff were friendly and helpful - in particular Kamal, who we knew we could rely on for any assistance - which helped make our stay very enjoyable. If we ever return, we will definately be staying there again.

Room Tip: small Riad with 8 rooms but all with ensuite showers.

Myself and my wife travelled to Marrakech recently and stayed at the Riad Zayane Atlas.

We went to Marrakech for a vacation and cultural experience. I was amazed at how much we enjoyed the trip. This Riad and it's staff played a huge part in the experience.

You won't find a better location in Marrakech to enjoy this unique city. An oasis in the middle of the souks. You are right where you need to be to enjoy this city.

I had seen the many complimentary reviews for this Riad on TripAdvisor, and having now enjoyed the hospitality of the Riad Zayane Atlas Staff, I can now also happily highly recommend everyone to visit Marrakech and stay at this Riad!

The Riad itself was extremely clean and comfortable. Breakfast was ok, Dinner was as good as you could hope for anywhere. Do book yourself in for a Tagine when you stay here.

Special mention to Kamal - who was always available to help in anyway he could. Absolute gentleman as well! He far exceeded the call of duty. He was also our guide in Marrakech, taking us on a trip to the Atlas mountains, were we enjoyed the scenery, the food and a Camel ride. The Riad staff also took us to a Kasbah, where they had wonderful items on sale. If only we had brought bigger suitcases and more money.

We also took advantage of the Hammans and the Spa treatments..

We enjoyed bartering in the souks, there are all sorts of merchants there, some a little pushy, but 99.9% were fabulously friendly and hospitable, and we think we did ok in terms of prices. We learned a lot about spices, and products made from herbs ranging from natural medicine's to cleansing products.

I loved the Morrocan mint tea also.

We left Morrocco with a wish to return, and a fondness for the people of that country.

We had a voucher given to us as a present by a family member. I am 21 and my boyfriend is 26 we did not really know what to expect as most of our holidays are relaxing, peaceful and calm. This however was a very different experience. We flew with Easy Jet and unfortunately the flight lasted 10 hours due to the weather conditions when trying to land in Marrakech Airport, However this was no fault of the riad owners. We arrived by transfer at 1.00am and was greeted by an older man in robes surrounded by young men. As we got out of the taxi we felt very intimidated and before we knew it one of the young men was carrying our luggage. As we walked up the alley leading to our riad there was a man behind us with a bandage on his arm and blood all down his face. He was following us and asking for Money. We arrived at the Riad and the man in the robes could not speak any english what so ever so this made it difficult as we felt as though we was not very safe at all. We slept quite well that night although the room was very small and not very Morrocan themed. The sheets had hairs and stains on them and we was not aware we had a key to lock ourselves in. In the morning we had breakfast on the roof terrace which consisted of lots of bread. The language barrier was difficult. Babette who owned the Riad was lovely and tried to make us feel at ease by showing us where to go and what to do. We left the Riad later that day as it was not for us. I can imagine this Riad is perfect for travellers and people who love being in the heart of things but it was not suited for us.

Riad Zayane Atlas is a lovely quiet place in an excellent location just minutes from the bustle of the souks and the square. I'm glad we decided to book the taxi on offer from the Riad. The airport is not far but it saved the hassle of dragging cases around trying to find our location. The Earth Cafe a couple of doors away sign is a good landmark if you get lost. And they make lovely smoothies and run cookery courses each morning for any enthusiastic cooks.
We were very well looked after, at Riad Zayane Atlas, especially by Kamal who remained friendly, attentive and patient with our attempts at GCSE French! Nothing was too much trouble for him. We went on a 'deal' which included dinner for one evening but the food was so delicious and the surroundings so pleasant on the roof terrace that we decided to eat there on other evenings too. A splash pool had just been installed and was great for cooling off after sightseeing. The room we had was a bit small but this didn't really matter as there were plenty of nooks and crannies to lounge in and relax. I have no hesitation in recommending Riad Zayane, it is excellent value and I would certainly stay there again.

Room Tip: I think there are larger rooms so it's worth asking. I

We stayed for 3 nights on a deal and had a really great time here. Despite a slight issue with out airport transfer (which was our own fault - Riad Zayane is NOT the same place!), we received a really great welcome, the staff were fantastic, the room really comfortable, and the atmosphere lovely. The Riad's in a great location, only a few minutes walk from the main square. The breakfast we had each day was plentiful and tasty, and the dinner we had included on the second night was one of the tastiest we had during our trip. At our request the riad organised a day trip to the mountains for us using one of their taxi drivers, which was an amazing experience and great value.
All in all, a brilliant stay that made it a fabulous and memorable (as well as not too expensive!) short break.

We get here because we have to leave our previous riad because they didn´t have more availability and the Zayane Atlas was located in the same alley. The place was wonderful and the price amazing, and the location fantastic.
Maybe the decoration of the rooms and the courtyard was not the most traditional and beautiful of the ones we stayed in, but the rooms were really good (specially the bathroom in comparison with the other we´ve been).
We really enjoy our stay in the Riad. A wonderful and generous breakfast was served every day in the roof terrace. The personal was really friendly, so much that the last day they take us to the airport because they didn´t found a taxi to did it.
I will definitely recommend this riad.
