“Rabbit!”
Reviewed 23 December 2011

A small cafe/restaurant with limited seating situated on Avenue Fatima Zohra (near to Dar el Bacha and therefore handy for guests of the riads on this street and Rue Bab Doukkala also), and only five minutes walk for visitors to Djemma al Fnaa.

Not fancy by any means but good food, freshly prepared and at a very reasonable price. The usual fare of pizzas (thin crust and very tasty) are on the menu along with various pasta dishes - chicken liver spaghetti, fresh salmon tagliatelle and lasagne. The chef/owner also prepares omelettes, paninis and crepes, as well as salads. My favourite? The clue is in the title - rabbit tajine in a sultana and caramelised onion sauce. With chips (frites/French fries). Enjoy!

“great tucker”
Reviewed 3 December 2011

within 3 days we were regulars and recognised with a smile and a cold banana and orange drink. The vegetarian tagine with preserved lemon was awesome.

“friendly, cheap and good little (basic) place”
Reviewed 7 November 2011

went based on trip review, very basic to look at, but lovely pasta for the kids and nice tagine and coucous for the adults. Super friendly and would strongly recommend if you don't mind basic environment to eat in.

Everything is ok. Nothing wrong but nothing exceptional neither. Just a decent friendly restaurant with a good value for money

“Basic to look at but lovely food with a polite waiter (wow)!! But no sign outside!”
Reviewed 30 October 2011

We decided to seek out this restaurant after reading the reviews as it is hard to find things here. It took us ages to find as there was no sign. Just as we gave up and were heading back to the square we recognised it from the photos on here.
It looks like a dive from the outside and it is on a horrid road but the kitchen looked clean so we went in. The food was perfect and so so cheap. We had 2 chicken and lemon tagine and a pizza and 2 coke and it cost £12. Dont be put of by its appearance but I agree with the other reviews that it is not a place for a romantic evening out! But give it a try. We Will go back before we leave I am sure.
