Riad Dar Thania was great.
We really enjoyed our stay there.
We booked out the whole riad (has 3 rooms) so it was great to have the whole riad to ourselves. Its beautiful inside, and very clean.

Momo was such a great host. He was very kind and helpful. On our first day, he even walked with us to the main square to show us how to get there (very helpful as the medina has 1000s of roads, it sometimes feel like you are in a maze..). The location is fantastic, only about a 7 minute walk from the main square.

The food at the riad was very good. Every morning we had a fabulous Morrocan breakfast, which is comprised of delicious morrocan bread, pastries, yogurt (best ever), coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. One evening we had dinner at the riad, where they prepared a tagine for us. It was awesome. They even organised a belly dancer for our dinner, as we were celebrating my partner’s birthday.

After a busy day of touring, the riad is like a safe haven to relax in. When we got back to the riad in the afternoon, Momo would always serve us fresh mint tea. Delicious and refreshing after a busy day. I highly recommend staying at Riad dar Thania, you wont regret it. Its truly value for money considering how luxurious it is

The only reason I marked sleep quality as 3, is that we got woken up by the mosques at 6am. This is likely to happen anywhere in the medina, as it is full of mosques which call people to worship at various times throughout the day.

Riad Dar Thania is a great place to stay, because is right near the center, in the Medina. The best place to live and smell the Marrakech way of life.

If you want to stay in the heart of the medina and at the same time sleep in a quiet area, this is the place. This riad lies within walking distance from the famous square and some great shopping streets. The guys that run the riad are wonderful and will do everything to make you feel at home. They speak several languages and are very helpful with everything. They prepare an excellent breakfast that will be served on the roof top terrace on sunny days. The rooms are nicely decorated, quite modern with great sense of taste, and so are the bathrooms, and yet there is this cozy feeling of a real Moroccan riad. I love the place.

Riad Dar Thania is a beautiful, peaceful, private oasis in the middle of the hectic medina. There are only 3 rooms in the entire riad - my family and I had 2 of the 3 rooms. The rooms are very well decorated and clean. Since we had 2 of the 3 rooms, we felt like we had the whole Riad to ourselves. The riad also has a beautiful terrace where you can eat breakfast or soak up the sun, and a very comfortable lounge/living room area to enjoy tea, watch tv, and unwind. The owner Ludovic and the manager Momo are both very hospitable and helpful. We had a great time and would definitely recommend this place!

My friends and I just came back from a two weeks vacation in Morroco.
We first stayed in Marrakech for a few days and then headed south to the grand desert and Kasbha.
What can I say about Riad Dar Thania ? The owner Ludovic, who's French, recently converted his own place into a Riad just few minutes away from the action but in a very quiet neighborhood.
We stayed there for 3 nights and was also kind enought to invite us for a drink on our last day, woaaaaaaaaaaaah. His manager Momo, a trully great character with lots of charme and spirit, trully made us feel like special persons in this Riad.

Brakefast was fantastic and plentifull.
Wifi was available for free and flat screen TV.
Very, very clean place, just spotless.

I can only recommend this Riad, the best one we had in our tour, a real gem.

Cheers folks and have fun.
