The food was good and the show was fantastic. The dancers were beautiful and talented. The people were very nice too.

“Great atmosphere, food average”
Reviewed 2 June 2014 via mobile

The atmosphere at this restaurant is great, music, and belly dancers! The seats are very uncomfortable and at best the food could be described as average! The waitress that served us was very pleasant.

“Best Value for Money”
Reviewed 31 May 2014 via mobile

Not fine dining or pretentious, but nor does it pretend to be.

We were searching for a great restaurant in Marrakech with good atmosphere & dancing for a couple of days and recommended a few by locals (e.g. Fantasia, Le Tanjia, Jad Mahal), but all had mixed reviews.

We chose Azar because it wasn't as expensive and the atmosphere looked better. We had a great night, but went there with mid expectations.

Food was good, live music could have been more noticeable, but dancing was energetic.

Staff made it really enjoyable. Would highly recommend over more expensive or touristy options.

“Beautiful and great food!”
Reviewed 31 May 2014

We sat outside for a few drinks, then inside for dinner, both beautiful. Don't miss out on the belly dancers, so fun! Also a great cocktail and martini menu.

“The best of Lebanese and Moroccan together”
Reviewed 31 May 2014

We came early and were not rushed at all so the restaurant could get a second seating. The live music was fantastic. A little boy tried to help the musician with his instrument - I forgot the name but it's a harp that's on it's side, played on one's lap, with many strings that are plucked. Not a sitar. Will update this review when I remember the name!
