This is a lovely traditional riad, furnished with charm, and offers real respite from the hustle and bustle of the Medina outside. As soon as you step through the old doorway you are surrounded by calm and birdsong. The courtyard is covered but filled with orange trees and small birds nibble on any stray crumbs from breakfast. We had a bedroom on the ground floor which slept the three of us comfortably (2 adults, 1 child,10yrs) Not the largest of rooms, but decorated moroccan style with tiled ensuite. We took up the offer of an airport transfer (100drs) which went very smoothly despite a delayed flight. We also ate in on the first night and the food was delicious. Recommended after a long flight. Breakfast was abundant (see pics). Mohammed gave us a half day medina tour which gave us more confidence to wander and shop independently. The staff were very helpful and attentive and made a sweet fuss of our daughter. They also made phone calls on our behalf when a tour was nearly delayed. The pool was chilly but we braved it (english stoicism/foolhardiness!!). Altogether, I thoroughly recommend this Riad and would love to come and stay again. (My only small suggestion would be to change the four poster for a bed with a canopy from the ceiling or just an ordinary bed as it was a little cramped getting round the bed. Or maybe I just need to be more sylph-like!!)

Room Tip: Higher floors would probably be a bit quieter and lighter.

Located near Bab Doukkala (and not where it maps in Google maps), this was a nice riad - traditional, clean and friendly.

Their website accurately portrays the rooms and the courtyard, and the reviews on Trip Advisor were accurate (not true of some places, which stack the deck with in-house reviews).

All-in-all, a very charming little riad. Note that the Riad is near Bab Doukkala, and it's a 15-minute walk through narrow winding streets to the square and souks. There are many other good riads, some with better locations, some fancier, but I was perfectly content with Riad du Petit Prince.

Room Tip: Look at the photos and descriptions on their web site.

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights in October. The Riad du Petit Prince offers small, charming rooms just into the bustling Medina. What sets the place apart is the warm and friendly atmosphere offered by the staff and management. Nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is served in the courtyard and consists of various freshly cooked breads, orange juice, dates and sultanas. My thanks to Houda (who called us in UK to confirm the airport pick-ups etc), Abdilla and Mohammed who all made us feel so welcome.

Enjoyed this Riad .. Quiet clean lots of hot water ...
Good value for money ... Food was excellent. If you arrive late in the evening book dinner
We did not book in the Riad on the 1st night but asked them to recommend a restaurant
They took us to a local tourist restaurant and it was awful very expensive ...

2 days later we ate in the Riad and it was the best meal of the holiday .
Proper home cooked local food. Excellent breakfast good coffee
Very safe city .. As a single blond female no problems at all
Just take care with the traffic and take sensible shoes to walk in ...

A lovely quiet riad with orange trees and a little pool, lovely furniture, paintings and fresh flowers, just inside the medina walls. Only a few rooms so it was wonderfully peaceful - only "complaint" was that we were woken by the birds dawn chorus! Our room was tiny but had everything we needed and the water in the shower hot and plentiful. Fresh croissant, pancakes and bread for breakfast. Couldn't have asked for more from a very reasonably-priced riad.
