Conftable place, really nice and clean. very polite people, and the riad is not far away from the main plaza is very near, the location and is surrounding are save place...I would recommend it. The service was very good and polite, we where able to get a tour guide from the same riad, something that I think can be recommended when you are visiting Marrakech with a limited time.

With 2 of my friends I just celebrated new year in Marrakech and stayed in Riad du petit prince. And we had a very nice stay in this Riad. It is very quiet and clean. Although it can seem a bit of a rough area if you are used to modern areas. The staff is very helpfull and ´a brother´ of one of the staff offers taxi rides. Our experience is, that it is cheaper to arrange it yourself. It costs you maximum 50dh at night going to the square or the new area. And only 80 dh towards the Aerport. It talkes you around 20-25 minutes to get to the square by foot.

Room Tip: ours did not have a bath and there is not a closed area around the toilet, so you will have to deal...

I stayed in the riad for 6 nights, the rooms were clean, beautifully decorated and best of all great hot showers with really nice water pressure. My room was really lovely, a nice big bed! The riad is beautiful! It is quiet and relaxing, not far from all the excitement but setback enough to not be harassed. The breakfast is an amazing array of breads and pastries, teas and fresh orange juice.
The staff are so great they were super friendly, Adil helped with setting up excursions and even drove me to the Casablanca airport so I did not have to deal with the hassles of the trains with my big heavy baggage. I had a tour of the Medina from Mohammed that included seeing hand crafts being created and he helped me find lovely unique and high quality lights I will always adore! As well as showing great views of the mountains. Abdu was always super helpful and aided my exploration of the Marrakech night life. The guys were fun and friendly and very entertaining, helping me practice my Moroccan Arabic! The riad was so warm and friendly and comfortable a great place to come back to after a long day of exploring or sight seeing and relax by the fire or chill with some tea or a beer or cocktail. I really enjoyed my stay at the Riad Du Petit Prince!
I will for sure stay here again when I return to Marrakech! My only regret about staying at the Riad was that I was not able to stay longer!

Great place, agree with all the fine comments from other visitors. Highly recommended.
The location, near to Bab Doukalla means that you are in an authentic local area of the old madina, not bang in the middle of the tourist trap which represents most of the area around Jemaa Fna. This is a great advantage,as the area is quiet, local and friendly, without the constant heckling for business each time you step out the door, however be prepared for some serious walking through the maze to get to and from the souk area and the square.(twenty five minutes if you don't get lost) A taxi back will cost you up to ten euro depending on the time of day. don't let this put you off though as the place is a gem.

Room Tip: Chambre de Petit prince, opening off the courtyard with the pool 2m from your door.

The Riad Du Petit Prince is an absolute gem of a place. A previous review described this place as a “Diamond in the Rough” this is a brilliant description.
We arranged for an airport pick up via email and when we landed Abdil was there to meet us. He was most welcoming before we had even left the airport and assured us that he would tend to our every need and arrange anything we wanted. This was all true. When we arrived at the location it was true Marrakech. There are not too many tourists around this area (which is what we like) so it gives you a real feel of how the locals go about their daily lives.
The Riad is situated to the north of the main square about 15-20 mins walk through the little streets or around £4 in a taxi. It is also around 10 mins walk from “La Jardin Marjorelli”. It is not where google says it is. Once you know where you are its easy to find.
On entering the Riad and stepping out of the madness it was like finding paradise. This Riad is beautiful at night with its lanterns and plunge pool lit up. We fell in love with it from the minute we stepped through the little wooden door that looked like any other you see. It was like stepping into tranquillity and leaving all the hustle and bustle of the city behind. You could just come and have a week here without ever leaving the place. Our room was really chic with rugs and lovely drapes and cloths. A four poster bed and a really authentic Morrocan feel to it. The terrace upstairs was really cool and we sat up there at night and drank wine. By day after our morning visit to the souk and medina we sat around the court yard under the orange trees and had a well needed dip in the lovely pool. It was 49° C so it was well received and a real life saver. The court yard is where you had breakfast in the morning. This consisted of fresh bread and jams, pancakes, freshly squeezed orange juice, croissants and coffee. It was delicious and there was no rush to get up with the fear of missing it as the guys there were very laid back and happy to accommodate.
While we were there we wanted to take a cookery lesson and Mohammed arranged it for us to stand in with their cook Ameena, while she showed us her methods of cooking a tradition tagine. We then were able to eat this for dinner at the Riad. I strongly recommend eating here as the food is amazing and the surroundings are just delightful. They really do make you feel like a king. We did go to the night market for food on a couple of evenings and ate the street food and also in the afternoon ate from the street vendors just outside the Riad. However, if you want a civilised sit down meal in a quiet little hideaway then look no further than your bedroom door. The food is wonderful.
When Mohammed informed me that they had run out of beer (probably because we had drunk it all !!). I suggested I went and got some from the supermarket and despite the heat he walked me there and carried my beer back to the Riad. What a guy. He also gave us a tour of the city on the first day.
All in all, this place is magnificent. Especially for the little money we paid to stay there. The room even had A/C. We will most certainly be back and will be bringing friends too.
Thanks to everyone at the “Riad Du Petit Prince” for making us so welcome. A big 10/10.
Photos to follow.

Room Tip: Only saw our room but I'm sure there are all fab.

we arrived late in the evening for check in and were greeted with the customary mint tea immediately. we were shown the rooms and allowed to check in only when we were happy with them.

run by a team of brothers they attended to our concerns quickly and efficiently and on out final day sent us to the train station free of charge, this was super helpful as we travelled with quite bulky baggage and would not fit in a petit taxi.

breakfast is served in the garden courtyard which was an oasis in the hustle and bustle of the city. enjoying a fresh cup of OJ, mint tea with a selection of baguettes, crossaints, local crepe and roti with jams, butter and cream, it was the perfect start to any day.

Regretfully the toilets were tiny, requiring some acrobatics to move around, but you wont mind that much when the rest of the riad is that idyllic.

Room Tip: all the rooms are great!

This riad is an excellent place to stay at whilst in Marrakech! The group of brothers who run it are amazing people who are friendly, hospitable and caring. There is a little pool in the main courtyard and there are a few rooms around which they converted into dens to chill out in. They have a amazing rooftop with sunbeds as well. Made our experience in Marrakech unforgettable
