This is a beautiful riad which has been designed with great flair and attention to detail. It is also extremely peaceful and a joy to escape to from the crowds and mopeds outside.
The service at the riad was excellent - nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was tasty and healthy - I loved the yoghurt and fresh fruit salad. And I also enjoyed the range of moroccan salads at lunch.

When I couldn't work the safe, someone came immediately to assist and was very patient with us.

The large roof terrace was a nice spacious place to sit in the sun with many chairs available.

Beautiful riad. It is clean throughout the hotel. Excellent breakfast with big portion and so many varieties. All the staff are friendly and helpful and always wearing a smiling face. We felt safe even we went back late as there is a guard outside the main door.

Room Tip: Corner suites are large and sunny, but a bit noisy in the early morning.

Our first trip to Marrakech and first stop was Ksar Anika. It is a beautiful little oasis bringing calm to the hustle and bustle of this City. Step behind the front door and you are in a different world. The staff are extraordinary and customer service levels were faultless - despite our poor French! We upgraded to a suite which was beautiful....breakfast on our own terrace and the staff even set up our own table in the salon/bar area for dinner one night....covered it with petals and set a roaring log fire - a lovely surprise for us. Try the Hammam - it will leave you glowing! 10 out of 10 for this Riad - if we visit Marrkech again, we'll be staying here. I even left my credit card behind as we disappeared off for 5 days to the desert and mountains - one phone call to them, and I was assured it was already in the safe and would be there until I could collect it on our way back to the airport - some English hotels could learn much from the staff here! Thank you Ksar Anika.

Room Tip: We were booked in to a standard room which was completely adequate....we decided to upgrade to somet...

Booked 7 day break through British Airways with flights from Manchester via Gatwick. No thanks to BA as we were the only customers NOT provided with transfers to and from airport &. hotel. Would have done better to fly Thomson direct from Manchester to Marrakech or Easyjet.
Riad was excellent. Beautifully designed and furnished. Absolute peace guarranteed. Not a TV in sight.! Staff well trained and pampered us for 7 days. Lovely restaurant, good food although limited choice. Small wine list but OK prices. Free tea & biscuits daily. Excellent breakfasts. Well stocked reading room with DVD projector and many dvd's. Beautiful pool and loads of sunbeds both at poolside and on rooftop . Great views. Riad a 10 minute walk to Place Jemma El Fna. Very convenient for places of interest and only 10 mins from airport.Recommend it unconditionally.

Room Tip: Rooms away from road recommended if light sleeper, although road noise caused us no problem at all.

Ksar Anika is a lovely little riad situated close to the main square (about a 10 minute walk). The staff are very welcoming and helpful, giving us lots of information on what to see and places to go. There is a guard at the front door, so for nervous visitors who feel out of their comfort zone, this is a reassuring sight. We felt very safe and comfortable during our stay.

The small pool area is nice to sit around and relax, escaping the hustle and bustle of Marrakech outside. There is also a rooftop area where you can relax on sun chairs and sofas or use the gym facilities (there is not loads of gym equipment, but I wasn't there to use the gym so this was no issue with me, although if you are very into the gym and are looking to do full workouts while away, it is probably best to look elsewhere!)

Breakfasts were nice, healthy and plentiful. The rooms were very spacious, clean and fresh and the bathrooms clean and modern.

Only small negative was at night you could still vaguely hear the noises of the busy city outside, however, in the room I stayed in this was only minimal so not a problem for me. If you are a very light sleeper it might be worth asking for a room furthest away from the roads.

Overall I was very impressed with Ksar Anika and would happily stay here again if I returned to Marrakech.

My family and I have just returned from a five night stay at Ksar Anika. This was a return trip to Marrakech and Ksar Anika because we loved both so much. We don’t often return to the same place but we were not disappointed. I can honestly say that, having travelled the world extensively, I have never experienced such welcoming hospitality and attentive service. From the moment we arrived, the service was as outstanding as the first time we visited, nothing was too much trouble. Madjouline, the Manager and Abderrazak, the Deputy Manager were always on hand to help with our queries and offer suggestions regarding our holiday plans. Abderrazak also arranged our trip to the Atlas Mountains. We were here to celebrate my husband’s and my daughter’s birthday. On both of these days, birthday cake was unexpectedly supplied and a lot of fuss was made of them. Every afternoon we relaxed on the roof terrace, soaking up the sun, where we were supplied with complimentary mint tea and cookies. We had dinner and lunch twice in the Riad, both times the food was delicious and the service very attentive. A hamman is definitely recommended at the Riad. There is a lot of hustle and bustle in the Medina of Marrakech and visitors should be prepared for this, but it is also part of the fun. However, entering the oasis of Ksar Anika is total bliss in comparison. A great way to start the New Year!

My husband, 21-year old daughter, and I stayed two nights at the Ksar Anika Riad and could not have been more pleased. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and the decor in the public spaces, as well as our room, is absolutely beautiful—elegant and sophisticated. The bath room was very modern and spacious. Our room was well-lit with numerous electrical outlets. The continental breakfast—served in a lovely room with fireplace (and Christmas tree!)—was delicious with fruit, juice, yogurt, coffee/tea, and various Moroccan breads. As our booking was arranged by our touring company—Around Morocco Travels—I was curious to check out the legendary and historic La Mamounia, also in Marrakesh, to see if we might be missing out on something. Undoubtedly, La Mamounia, situated in the midst of lovely gardens, and is quite beautiful. Although we were well-dressed—not attired in sneaks and sweats—we found the staff to be reserved and formal, which was rather off-putting to us. We are glad that we made the comparison, as we were very happy that we stayed at the Ksar Anika instead.
