NICE PLACE, the food is AWESOME!!!!
I ate the hand made couscous (although it needs to be ordered in advance) with vegetables, it was amazing!
The terrace has a terrific view of the medina and surrounding mountain.

We stayed here (heaven) and the food was excellent. We were four foodies and it was some of the best food we had. If we had time, we would definitely have done their cookery class but we have made some of their food (from our own versions of what we thought we were eating!) since returning home and it is worth it. Breakfasts were delicious too and the staff friendly and helpful. See my review of the riad separately.

Booked at sister Riad.. Riad Due... unfortunately only one chap there at door and no booking! Took us through The Medina to Riad 72, warm welcome, terrific ambiance, four tables with loads of candles, rose petals, water features and a massive fruit bedecked banana tree.
Simple menu with next to no choice so very surprised when one of the chicken tagines was like boot leather, "it's the type of chicken sir", no, it was overcooked. Didn't spoil the evening as everything else was so good.
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone but don't be shy to complain (not that it made any difference).

We ate here in the evening after booking in the morning.
You will have to search for it, it's not easy to find. Tables are situated in a very spacious, cool courtyard with large palms and pools or you can eat in the dining room or on the terrace at lunchtime. The tables are set with candles and it is low lit and romantic.
The food is beautifully presented and very tasty, we had the rabbit tagine, and it was nicely cooked with artichokes. The Moroccan salad was served in small glass jars with bread and was also delicious. We didn't have room for a pudding. The service was impeccable, very attentive and unhurried.
This is definitely a place for a romantic dinner away from the bustle. It is quiet and hushed and evocative. You can also stay here.
Highly recommended but you may have trouble finding it. Unusually they take credit cards.

Finding this place was a little difficult. In the dark and no name at the door. In front of the door a man was hanging around, claming to help us. But he took us away from number 72. We turned back, he followed. He wanted money and made problems at the entrance. When we finished dinner he was waiting for us, wanting money. Typicall, but not a nice experience. And the restaurant had no one to escort us. They helped us by preventing the man to follow us. The food was nice. A tasting of Maroccan startes. Main course tajine. Service at the table was friendly. And a sharming entourage. I would recommend to solve the hustler problem and put up a sign with the name of the restaurant. For us, the experience at Riad 72 was well paid and average.
