Me and nine other friends stayed at this amazing Riad for 4 nights from April 25th 2013. To begin with, the booking process was very simple and Andrew was very helpful and accommodating. We arranged to be picked from the airport which cost £5 per person which was fine with us. After about a 20 minute drive, we came to a square where we were greeted by Hossein, the Riad manager, he and a member of staff walked us along a maze of lanes to the Riad which was amazing. The rooms are beautifully decorated, very authentic and clean, I stayed in the Meknes suite which was beautiful.
The Riad is located in the middle of the Medina but you wouldn't think it as it was such a calm oasis. The roof terrace is amazing with great views and a mosque right near it. The staff were so helpful and accommodating, nothing was too much for them. Miriam and Zahire cooked us a great breakfast and also a very tasty meal on one of our nights. The breakfast consisted of fresh orange juice, jam, egg and some lovely breads and on one occasion a lovely pancake.
Hossein dealt with all our cab bookings and walked us to the cabs on every occasion and also greeted us at any time, even at 4am, and walked us back safely to the Riad.
You are given mobile phones in case you get lost in the Medina or need any kind of help with Hossein. This was very thoughtful and useful.
The Riad is near to cafe Arabe which was a great place with great food and a lovely terrace.
All ten of us agree we thoroughly enjoyed our experience at the Riad and would definitely return again. I previously came to Marrakech and stayed at a hotel in La Palmerie area which I would never do again as you don't get the full experience of Marrakech that way.
